THE WORLD OF WESTERN WOMEN 2

Jesus was born a Jew, but I was startled to discover that nowhere does he quote from the Torah or refer to the Torah. Jewish boys were indulged to extremes then and now. A child teaching a strange interpretation of the Torah when he was 12 or so would have been listened to with interest and indulgence but not too much concern. After all hed been away for all his youth and had picked up strange ideas. But as an adult in that same temple spouting those same things or worse it would have been a different matter. The real Mystery of Jesus is; what he taught in the Temple to men of knowledge. Or did he ever set foot in the Temple proper? There is no record of this event.

As a boy He had to be arguing about their interpretation of the Torah or he would have used the Torah as a base for his teaching. This he did not. He was not thrown out of the temple so he must have been listened to and acknowledged. Why? Because there were other adepts among the priest hood that agreed with him.

Since Christ ignored the Torah it must mean that he did not see it as a step to God. Why then did the later church or congregation want to add the Torah? To establish the authority of Jesus and explain his male god and father to people who worshipped female dieties and minor gods. Romans and Greeks hadnt had a living offspring of a God to worship for over 6 or 7 hundred years. He had to prove himself and his birthright, hence the need to place the Torah into the early teachings. Dont forget the earlier followers were raised in the Jewish faith and knew all about the Messiah concept, but as the church spread out around the Agean to Rome it was coming up against total ingnorance of the Jewish faith that is the building block to the Messiah concept.

The Torah is male dominated in spite of Sarah and Judith and Rebbecah, etc. Im sure the priests of early Rome, who took a back seat to the Priestesses of Astarte and Hera and Diana, noticed. From the very beginning of Romes adoption of Christianity it became male oriented. Only in far away greece and constantinople did women still have a role for awhile. But even those men succumbed to the ego building role of male dominance. Especially so during the occupation of the Persians and Turks who held women in contempt as chatels. So, between Roman Priesthood, male ego, the Torah and Paul, women lost the position of equality they had in Rome, Greece and the early church.

But since all temples of worship are founts of coinage and women are one half the population, a completely male dominated religion would not attract females or their purses. No Problem! Mary was the mother of a God and so she replaced the real female Goddesses, Athena, Ashera/Astarte, Dianna, etc. She took the place of the Goddess of Firtility while all the while representing hearth, home, birth, meekness, and even that sad but real time when a son rejects the mother and lives his own life. Also in those troubled times when mothers lost their sons to war and death they could take comfort in the fact that Mary had been through the same things. Mary has always been the Goddess in human condition, therefore closer to women than any other Goddess.

The Church revives Mary whenever its in trouble or attendance lags. But she is not allowed to hold that position for very long. Its too dangerous to the Church. Women may start to ask themselves how or why a virgin human woman was made to bear the son of a parochial God without being a Goddess herself. The creative principal has always been fecund female, but it is not higher than male: it is and always will be co-creative with male. Niether is anything without the other. Creation has never been the product of rape and never will be. Those countries whos men have been raised in the concept of force, rape and domination of women bring about their own eventual destruction.

In two thousand years of Christianity the world has not seen a true church emerge. As long as man insists on teaching the Torah as an adjunct to Jesus words, his words will be lost to us.

The Church of Rome created three concepts that were intended to reduce women to a lowly status in order to reduce her power over life; 1. Celebacy of priests. 2.Marriage of nuns to christ. 3. Baptism in the church.

1. CELEBACY AS A CONDITION OF PRIESTHOOD.

This did two things for the early Roman church. It divorced this religion from the fertility rites of all the other temples and set it apart. This brought them up to the level of the priestesses who had always been forbiden to have sex. In order to understand the appeal this had for the Roman and Greek male you must realize how rife homosexuality was in those days. The sons of Rome and Greece were expected to marry and have sons no matter what their preference. Now they could enter a lucrative and rich calling that was a society of men with a valid excuse not to marry. Within the sanctity of the Church their weaknesses were hidden. Celebacy from marriage which they abhored was even honored. But since celebacy for a heterosexual male is an unnatural and cruel condition those normal, healthy men who entered the church then and now are protected from their folly by many recourses of the church powers. Any women claiming a priest as father to her child was outcast. Even denounced as a witch in later times. At one point in time the church even set up Nunneries for unmarried mothers to go to. But most of the inmates were nuns who had become pregnant. In the mid 70s in France they discovered the skulls of over a thousand babies in the old Well of a nunnary. Since the skulls showed some of the babies to have been over one month old it could not have been from childbirths around the countryside as those poor babies would have had a proper burial. If they were born alive as these ones appeared to be they would have been baptized in the normal course of events. Once baptized you were entitled to a proper burial...not thrown down a Well. Since only skulls were in the Well, they must have been placed there at the time they stopped using the Well in 1896 and moved to modern running water. The Well became the perfect hiding place for the skulls that couldnt be destroyed any other way. Little bones would have been easily thrown on the garbage dump, but not a skull.

So, all the church had to do was send the errant Priest to another parish where he was unknown.

Celebacy as a holy act also reduced the role of women as the bearer of life and an object of mystery, to one of carnality. The act of human love was reduced to a filthy little act of lust, with women in the role of seducer, therefore an object of degradation. The implications have been there ever since. But since the church had to acknowledge the need for women and birth it was sanctified by marriage within the church. And sex only to beget a child. Never for mutual love and joy. Sex became a neccessary but dirty act.

Those concepts could only have been introduced by homosexual or aged, impotent males who had become a power in the church.

If the psychologists of today did a study on the old church as it affected the world they surely must be amazed at the courage and staying powers of women. That it has never destroyed their deep need for love and creation. For no single race (including the Jews ) had had to bear the hatred and cruelty and shame that women all around the world have had to because of this one religion altered so horribly by Rome.

2. MARRIAGE OF NUNS TO CHRIST.(In order to force celebacy on women against the purpose of womanhood.)

Nun is a chinese word. They were an order of Priestesses who ran inns to succor the wayfarer. To shelter, feed, and tend to his wants. Sex was a natural expression to them of service. What a change has been wrought by the western world to this calling. And yet not...

Since women of high standing and wealth demanded a part in this new religion and could not be denied because of their power and also because the early Families may have been chary about their unwed girls being instructed by young, horny priests, there was a need for schools of instruction by women for women. I know there was a need for women in the church to be above suspicion and to propogate the celebacy concept but the priest who concieved the idea of their marriage to Jesus must have been aware of the Eastern marriage of women to the dead in order for the boys family to have an heir of their liniage which would be done by the father or other members of the family. In their society it was an act of love and consideration. In the Church I see it as an abomination. You cannot ask Jesus if he wanted all these wives! He is dead! He was born to a people who held to one wife. Because Abraham and Solomon had many wives the church could use that as a precedent for the church since they were now using the Torah as an Authority. But Jesus didnt use the Torah! And all reference to Jesus marriage were deleted from the records.

Lets explore the concept of a married Jesus, and why the church would like a single Jesus.

Jesus would have been seen as an abnormal Jew if he had not been married by his early 20s. He would not have been a Rabbi unless he was married. Why? Because one of the first orders of God to man was to go forth and multiply his kind. For the Jew that is an order. For a Rabbi not to follow Gods order would be sacriligious. The only thing that makes it a question mark is that Jesus was a man who did not always follow the rules as they were interpreted by the Temple priests. He would not have gained apostles unless he was married. That there is a large history of Jesus as a child and none between the ages of 14-29 is not strange. They would have revealed his married status so they were deleted in 500 A.D. when celebacy was decided on by the church.

It would be interesting to see what the churchs reaction would be to a woman who approached them to be married to a dead man. Yet in the name of religion these Nuns are married to a dead man or God. This is a pure Roman concept. However when it is stripped of its religious mumbo jumbo it is seen for what it truly was and is; a degradation of the purpose of women and reproduction. Very odd when you realize that the god worshipped is one of creation and woman was created to carry out his injunction to multiply the race. A nun is a slap in the face to this concept. It may come as a shock to the anti-abortionists to realize that the Pope can only abhor the loss of future human, not a present human. They have never claimed an unborn child as human or a person. They cannot! Why? Because life was not given to Adam until God breathed life into his lungs. That is the male mystery and the whole structure of the church is based on that mystery between God and man -The breath of life. Nothing about woman is holy including what she bears in her belly. While it is still part of her flesh it is unholy. Until the day it is baptized it is not considered a member of the church.

3.THE RITE OF BAPTISM.

It is hard for modern women to realize what that baptism of her child meant to early women in the church of Rome. It has been only a very short time since the Roman Catholic church admitted women to the status of human. That shocks you? You think I am lying? Well to be human and not an animal you must have a soul. If you do not have a soul you are an animal. The Catholic church has denied that women had a soul. Even the Lutheran church went along with this one for a long time. There was no logic to this belief. There was little logic in many church beliefs, only self serving ends. How could a woman with no soul give birth to a male child and give it a soul? Women were to be reduced in status and power by any means at hand. This was not recinded until the last century when the Pope finally gave women and negros a soul.

By these three acts listed above she was reduced to a very humble position. Without Baptism she was outcast from the christian world. The right to bear life was controlled by marriage in the church. If you were not married to a member and in the church your children were dammed as bastards and you became a whore. Niether could be burried in sanctified ground and all ground was sanctified by the church. This was absolute control. Control of the body of women as well as her social position. In time they didnt have to worry about her mind because without the status given her through marriage or the church she was an object to be bartered in marriage for position or wealth. Wealth or royal position did of course give freedom of sorts. But Petruccio was right in,Kiss me Kate, when he says of his new bride, She is my chattel, like my cow.

What is truly amazing is that within this Christian slavery, guilt, and control of mind, status and body, women survived. You might even say it made them tough and strong as adversity usually does. Of course there have always been women who will toady to the master. You can see them in the modern churchs. Dont blame them. They learnt this in the school of hard knocks.

But it has never been the women alone who suffered from a twisted religion. It has been the men. Two thousand years of little boys entered into a sick world that denied them the love and companionship of mothers, aunts, sisters, wives, daughters, and grandmothers. Instead it introduced them to hardship, denial or worse, homosexual relationships.

In view of the overwhelming disclosures of so many men of the cloth, Catholic and protestant, who are sexually molesting children, no one today can deny the sickness goes back a long way. It is only coming out now because we are educating women and children to speak out. No one expected the ministry to be caught in the same net. Yet this is highly naive of the modern world.

The greatest sexual urges occurr in the male child between the ages of 12-21. Part of the reason is nature and part is that in western society it is culturaly repressed and forbidden. A boy reaches that stage in silence and repression so the urge becomes a focal point. He has just learnt how to control his other body functions but no one has even thought to teach him to control his sexual urge. That comes later from hard experiance. Some never learn.

They entered the churchs by the thousands. Young, innocent, lonely - and horny. Ripe for the taking. The church has a saying: As above, so below. Change that to;as in the secular community, so the religous. With only one difference that was great. Secrecy, privacy, and untouchability, therefore protection. It all went on behind high walls and closed doors. Reforms came and went. Habits changed and altered. But nothing really stopped.

What changed this world?

Printing presses! The same cause that is bringing out the crimes commited against todays children by the church. Not the education system, not the medical world, not the church. But brave souls who have used the presses to reveal the horrors they have endured. When you have enough stories the evidence becomes overwhelming.

Those are just the steps that led to the degredation of women in the Christian world. But what is happening in todays world? What started in the US as a response to the Korean and Vietnam war, on the Campuss of America with the help of Drugs, became a door opening onto freedom for sexual expression that had some good things and some bad things. It was no longer a stoning thing to have a baby out of wedlock. And it was no longer a terrible thing to have sex before marriage. What they did not count on was that the men who make money from sex saw it as a money maker. They discovered that sex sells big time. So how do you keep the money coming in? Destroy ALL the old rules, the inhibitions, and to do that you use liquor or drugs. But since it is the very young that you must get hold of before they know better, and we have laws about underage drinking, they needed a new catalist. Pot and drugs became the weakener, the destroyer of morals. And of course the movies helped greatly. There was nothing like the lessons being taught on the movie screen or the T.V. screen to educate the young and make them think that this was all normal. Children dont understand that it is only a story made up and that what goes on on these screens is not how people act and have always acted. And now parents are even having trouble with how their children eat because they see the people on TV eating all that crap. It has become the biggest mind control medium of the history of man. (or women) And if we dont begin to understand how small beginnings can run into large ones we cant control, then we had better start now! Or have we already past the point of no return?
