There was a child grew up in strife
And found that anger was her life.
Mother, Father, other kin,
Put down this little life within.

*

Where was the picture painted gay
In the magazines that came her way?
Of children growing up in love
And a guardian Angel up above.

*

To Hell with her! the Devil screemed.
Ill make her wish shed never been.
And when this child is fully grown
Shell come to me on her very own.
