Has anyone today ever paced and marked out the size of the ark that was
built? I dont think so. Yet to see the actual size that is spoken of
would shock many people who have been brought up on the silly pictures
of the early days of the church, where the ark isnt as large as a ferry.
To get a good idea, picture a boat the size of at least two long blocks
if not more. The width one short block, and the height at least to the
alleyway. Now picture the amount of wood needed to build the thing. A
lot, wouldnt you say? Ask any builder of an apartment block how much
wood is needed to build that large a building. And remember the timbers
inside must hold up tons of flesh. And tons of fodder and seeds and other
foods.
6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou
finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side
thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
So what we have is a space measured flat of about nine city blocks placed
side by side and about two blocks deep.
6:17 And behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth,
to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven;
and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
6:18 But with thee will I establish my covenant: and thou shalt come into
the ark, thou, and they sons, and thy wife, and thy sons wives with thee.
6:19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort, shalt
thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male
and female.
6:20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every
creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come
unto thee to keep them alive.
6:21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt
gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
6:22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
I have already mentioned how the world was now over-crowded with people,
and that must have made land as much at a premium as it is today. So,
we must assume then that Noah has the following: Land, Money, Pull,
or Power. You do not build an ark on a small lot. You need space for
the piles of materials you need. You do not gather together animals
from all over the world without space to put them until the ark is
finished. You dont collect animals without space to keep the food
needed to keep them alive.
You do not do all of this unless you are rich enough to buy all the
supplies. And you need power. You are going to be cutting down a forest.
Some people might object. You are buying up food. And of course we will
not mention the fact that if he lives in a fairly settled community and
this God has persueded the animals to find his home then they are going
to be wandering through all the city streets. Or did you not think of
those things? Oh, yes! The silly pictures you grew up with always put
Noah in a small boat with no other houses around, not even his own. Well,
forget that picture and start looking at reality. It took five years for
the ark to be built. That is a long time for building to be going on
in your nighborhood.
If you read the situation with open eyes and a mind that actually thinks
for itself, then we must also deal with the Sons of God. You know the
ones. They are the angels, who took wives from among the men. (with
their consent, do you think?) Where were they all this time? What were
they doing? Getting off the planet, no doubt and leaving their sons
behind and their wives that they supposedly took.
Lets take a look at some of the measurements of this ark. If, as we
saw on that well known T.V. show, the ark is a long box like affair
then that makes sense to a certain degree. But that boat shown in the
film was only a small city block long. I have figured out that any
boat that is going to survive this flood would need to be the lenghth
of space between three waves. (It is doubtful that any wave trough
would be larger than 100 cubits.) Any smaller and it would not last. If
each wave then was going to be just under 100 cubits from crest to crest
the ark will float without capsizing. It will be carried on two wave
crests at all times and an old one just passing as a new one takes up
the space left vacant in front. The ratio of width to highth is too low
and too wide to roll over by any wave action if they are caught in a
trough. But I could be wrong on this.
Now, we also have to consider that the only window in the place was at
the top. That means that we are not going to have any light unless we
have artificial light. This was not an ignorant, backward, hillybilly
group of people setting sail on this ark. These are highly intelligent
people who will need to have a form of lighting. So lets talk about
this lighting:
A few years back renovations were being done on some area of pavement
around the vatican. A burial chamber was discovered underneath the
pavement, that when opened up contained a lamp that was still burning.
The burial was at least 2,300 years old, maybe older. The lamp was
made from stone. No bulb. No wicks. Stone that gave off a light. In
other words, at one time in our history we knew how to excite the atoms
of stone to give off light. That would make the stone balls found all
over South America light sources. Given the fact that they are various
sizes and also found all over the land, they may have been a map of the
stars. Anyone coming from space would see the constelations on the ground.
How long did they glow? What manner of science could do such a thing?
Is it impossible? No! It only seems so because we cannot do it. But then,
we are not as advanced as our ancestors were.
This would have been the light source for the Ark. I also believe that
the Gods would have been collecting animals for them also. No one would
have thought anything of it, as they were always moving about on earth.
I also believe that even if they had told the rest of the world what was
about to take place that they would not have been able to concieve of it.
No one would have understood the concept ofrain. Or flood, or Death in
large numbers, unless it was from war.
I was out gathering rocks at a river the other day, and as I studied the
rocks I wondered how man could be so stupid about his world. I was
looking at small, round rocks rolled down by the river. But at one time
all the sand, and gravel, and beach rocks and garden rocks in the soil
were once part of vast stone beds. How do you think rock and stone began?
I am going to be hooted at for the following information. However over
a period of 55 years I have found I am always right. Sooner or later
science announces with great fanfare what I have claimed all along.
Long before man upon this earth, in that wonderful world of low land and
no mountains but calm seas, and no winds, rainstorms, tides, (no tides,
because no moon) sea life was more than abundant, it was thick like soup.
This life died and fell to the sea floor and piled up ontop of itself
constantly, forming massive sheets of what we now call rock. And because
it was full of living creatures that were all colors and all materials,
you got all colors and all materials. As the flood came on and the Earth
went through upheavals these plates of stonematter became our rocks and
in the heat of earthquakes and mountain building they blended and cracked
and broke apart. Over and Over they have folded and broken and been
binded and fused together until you no longer know where they were formed
and from what. We have given these formations names. And we have given
the materials they are made from names and we have found them 'in situ'
and said this is where they came from. But we are not right.
We have followed a false trail of history and Geology for over a hundred
years now and it has led us astray. It was designed to do just that.To
think otherwise would have led us to find out what we should not know
too soon. There was no Ice age. Or what there was was not as extreme as
they claim. The earth has been hit. And bounced around by meteors. No
one was writing history in the North of Canada. Or in America. Or out
in the Pacific Ocean. We have had tidal waves and upheavals like you
wouldnt believe. We forget these things because not to many people
survive at the point of the event. And they forget about it in the
desparate business of surviving. And the next few generations are not
interested in the last generations troubles.
