If you are reading this, then you are a miracle of genetic human survival!
It means that your ancestors in an unbroken line survived life all down
through the ages in order for you to be on the earth at this time. If that
doesn't impress you then let me try to explain the wonder of it.
Since this is Canada that means that your father or grandfather did not
die in WWII like so many young men of 18 years of age and over,(those men
and women were the last of their lines in some cases)Or that your
grandparent conceived a child before going overseas. Nor did your ancestors
perish in WW1. Nor were your ancestors one of the thousands of pioneers who came to Canada in the 19th Century who perished from measles, small pox or influenza epidemics, religious hunts, starvation and migrations. They knew
the days of the Celts, Romans, Greeks, Chinese warlords, Zulu's and others. Some worshipped in Egypt, India, China, Africa, Russia, Islands, and northern climes. Each and every one of you had an ancestor that went back to the time before written history that survived long enough to conceive a child to carry on this unbroken line that you represent.
Billions upon Billions of humans died before they could breed. They are
the dead lines. You are a living line back to the very beginning of human
life. You are indeed a miracle!
How long will your line last? How far into the future? Will your
Grandchildren end the line from death by Pollution? Wars? Don't let the
miracle die because of laziness, greed or stupidity. It isn't always the
power brokers children who survive. It's yours!
