ZECHARIA SITCHIN AND THE SINAI PENNINSULA AS THE SITE OF THE EXODUS.
Zecharia Sitchin and The Stairway to Heaven
Chapter 11, THE ELUSIVE MOUNT. page 208.
In trying to establish the site of Tilman, the land that Gilgamesh sought,
as the Sinai, he also tries to establish this as the land of the 40 years
wandering of Moses. He records the efforts of explorers and Archaeologists
who searched for Mount Sinai. About the only thing that they did discover
was the lies of the church. None of the places that were claimed as
religious sites were more than stories made up to attract pilgrims and
monks. He records the efforts of the Israilis when they had control of
the Sinai. In all their efforts not one major site was found of a city.
Archaeological evidence was found for small camps but no cities.
Did all these explorers not read the story in the Bible? Are they dense?
It not only mentions all the Cities, (not towns and villages or camps,
but cities.)that Moses' "mob", (and I state that categorically) decimated.
They killed all the men and left only women and small children alive. He
might as well have killed them also as they would have died of hunger and
desease without the men. The Bible lists all of these cities. Youll find
them on page 30 section of my book, "The Bible Retold", yet no evidence
of any of these cities is found in the Sinai. I believe one city has been
found there since Sitchins book came out. There were nine of them that
Moses was recorded as attacking in force and killing all of the males. And
this after the tablet's stated," Thou Shalt Not Kill". So much for the ten
commandments! And so much for the Sinai being the site of the Wandering.
There is also the problem of the Salt Sea." Or as we know it; the Dead Sea.
The problem arises with the dates of Gilgamesh and Abraham. Does the story
of Abraham and Lot precede that of the time of Gilgamesh? There is no
mention of the "salt sea or the Dead sea in the story of Lot. In fact it
states that he spent the night of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah
at an Inn near the city of (?) with no mention of crossing a sea but up
agains't the mountains to the west of where the Dead Sea is situated.
Nor does Abraham mention this Dead Sea. So it must have been created after
the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. So for Gilgamesh to traverse it puts
him later than Abraham. Or that the story of Abraham is a lie.
Nor does Moses mention the Dead Sea or the destroyed cities he would have
had to pass to get to the Jordan crossing if he had been coming from the
direction of the Sinai. Surely he would have mentioned them if he had
passed them. These people recorded every thing that was relative to their
time. If they didnt record it then it wasnt there. Or they did not
come from that direction.
