OUT OF PLUMB

They say the Earth is tilted
And we�re slightly out of wack.
How dumb!!
I could have told them that!

I noticed it right away.
My door wouldn�t close today.
And my bread �rose on one side.
Caused, no doubt, by a readjusting tide.

Even an idiot can see we�re out,
Just watching people mill about.
How can we tell which way to go?
We�re spinning like a top you know.

****

Up will be down.
We�ll smile to frown.
We�ll dress to go to bed.
I�m not really cross,
But I�m getting off.
I�ll go to the Moon instead........
