For more years than I care to count, I have pondered what to me was an
anomoly; within a short span of around 20 years the entire academic world
accepted and began to teach three strange concepts, 1: Darwin's Theory of
Evolution. 2:Lyle's Theory of Ice Ages. 3: The Stable Earth Theory of slow
change,(by I think Agassiz). No one has yet proven evolution as far as humans
go and there are many problems with the way Ice ages began or how they
spread over the earth, as Velakovsky pointed out. And the very earth itself gives the lie to a stable, slow motion of change. So why all of a sudden did
the Academic world and Governments buy into these three concepts?
Then I read Ignacious Donnelly's book; 'The Fall of Atlantis'. This book is
based on the geological evidence and tribal memories of mankind, that the
Earth moved through the tail of a comet, almost ending the entire human
species and animal life in most (not all) area's. The book was a shocker
to the Academic and Government world,I'm sure, not to mention those who
worked through the first few chapters to get to the Atlantis part. I firmly
believe that Donnelly used Atlantis on the cover to sell his book, for there
is little on that subject. What he wanted to do was wake people up.
Why would it have angered the Academic world? Probably because a rank
amature saw in the geological makeup of this earth what they didn't and
should have. The same way that Churchward, Velakovsky and Sitchin have put
them to shame. Why would Governments have been upset with his book? Donnelly's
book came out in 1883. In the same century there had been quite a rash of
Comets in the sky's. Some fairly close to the Earth, amd since Donnelly's
book deals with the horrific damage one of them did to the Earth, I can
see thier worry that people would panic when the next one came by. Panic
is costly to Governments and Banks, and it didn't help that Donnelly let
the cat out of the bag about the truth concerning the Chicago fire. Mrs.
O'leary's cow had nothing to do with the fire. Fires broke out all over the
city of Chicago at the same time as well as across the country. What was
being experianced was a shower of some form from the sky. Was it a meteor
shower or the tail end of a comet as it went past the Earth? What most
people don't understand is the enormous length of the tail of a comet.
And it may be that while the Comet passed by at a fair distance from the
Earth, in some circumstances the Sun has the power to attract or repel
this force.
So who was Donnelly that he knew all this and read this history from the
Geological formations? And just what was it that he was looking at? Well,
to begin with, I'd say he was one very, very brilliant man. He was a lawyer,
Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota from 1860-1863, Member of Gongress 1863-
1869, Member of the Legislature from 1874-93, 1891-93&97. He spent most of
his time in the Library of Congress where I imagine he had access to all the
latest (1800's)information gathered by the Library. He would also have had
access to the truth in the Government reports across the country on the
amount, type, and results of the fires across the country. The question is;
did the Academic world also know the causes and covered them up? Certainly
something set this man to digging into the cause and the geological makeup
of this earth. What he came up with is a very reasonable answer to a number
of anomalies under our feet: the source of "Drift","Till",and 'Clay". And
an accompanying answer in the folk tales around the Earth.
His claim was that a large Comet with a tail probably of a few million miles
in length passed by the Earth. That the Earth went through the tail of the
Comet whereby it dumped some of the debris from it's tail which is where the
Drift originated. He discusses the area's affected, the formations of Till,
and Drift, and Clay. The events of Chicago took place at a time when we had
no Nuclear plants, chemical companies, or labs, gas stations, or oilwells. Nor
the millions of people now living on earth. If it happened in the future how
would we fare? Is it anymore or less scary than Atomic warfare? In fact we
have no real knowledge of how advanced mankind was when this took place.
But the evidence keeps showing up that he may have been even more advanced than we are today. As an artist I can tell you that cave art is very sophisticated drawing. That three miles below the surface of an African mine they have brought up metal balls we cannot break, cut, scratch or mar, or
open with even the most sophisticated tools of today. A sophisticated carving of what we think is a flywheel made of slate, was found long before we invented the flywheel. Skulls of modern man have been found imbedded in granite in mines deep below the surface. 200 ft at the bottom of a well was found an artifact of sophisticated make using a process that we have only discovered in recent years. Strange that America is so interested in blowing up a meteor these days to see what it's made of? mmmmmmmmmmmmm?
THE DRIFT
Anywere from 50 to 800ft or more you will find 'drift'. Or as it is sometimes
refered to as; 'til', or 'hardpan'. In the older, lower area's of the drift there is a total absence of stratafiction. Sometimes it consists of earth, gravel, stones, and in some places broken trunks or branches of trees. In other words it is a mess of clay, sand, gravel, wood and rocks of all sizes. The rocks being furrowed or scratched. It is unfossiliferous. NO SIGNS OF LIFE! Stones and boulders are found in it that are scratched and striated. Some are not. Yet most are. The phenomena are continental, world wide, globe embracing. And so Donnelly starts his story of events on earth in the distant past.
The origin of the drift is unknown even today over a hundred years after Donnelly's book. Waves of translation were suggested for the cause of the drift. Yet no explanation for the cause of those waves even today. We are
not talking about sunnami's no matter how high or large. This had to have
been waves of translation large enough to encompass half a continent. Not unless you admit that most mountains around the world are not that old, and that they have risen since the drift was laid down. Also, as I have just
been reading, in deeper strata's of the Earth's crust where waves of
translation do appear there is much evidence of life. These waves usually
sweep all forms of life off the surface.
If this is a battle for truth then we need to learn what the battle is about.
In Donnelly vs Agassiz, it comes down to this: did the drift cause the ice
age-if there was one-or did the ice age cause the Drift? Why is this our
battle? Because parents pay out millions of dolloars to Universities to
educate their kids! And if it's wrong, then their money is wasted. Not to
mention a lot of other fields which are impacted. Furthermore, our future
thinking on world politics is based on this type of knowledge.
Agassic claimed that drift, till, and clay are all laid down by massive glaciers
a mile high which covered the globe as far as the 40th parallel north and
south based on the evidence of Moraines at these latitudes. Moraines are also
caused by tidal action. Donnelly claims that drift, till and clay were laid
down when the Earth passed through the tail of a Comet. That it was debris
from the tail. In other words, all of this matter does not belong to the Earth.
However,Aggasiz gives no reason for what caused the ice age in the first place.
Glaciers form when the snow cover from one winter does not melt before the
next winter's snow arrives. This causes a layering of each year's snow on top
of all the previous years' snow. Over many years, this layering can build up
to great depths-about 2 miles deep at the South Pole. But in order to get this
precipitation in the first place you need a great deal of heat to cause the
evaporation of the oceans into the atmosphere to come down as rain or snow.
In other words, to have an ice age to begin with we need considerable heat. I
can think of only two things that would cause the Earth to heat up in this
fashion: 1: A burning world. 2: The Earth leaving its orbit and moving closer to the Sun. We know there have been great fires all over the Earth in the past,
because we have huge deposits of coal, which are the remains of burnt trees.
And we know that anything can start a forest fire. But they would have to have
been world wide at the time. As for the Earth moving closer to the Sun, it
would take two events for that to be the cause; movement towards the Sun, and
then away from the Sun, since if there had only been one movement we would not
have had an Ice Age, now would'nt we?
WHAT HE FOUND. THEORIES FOR THE DRIFT
a.The actions of great waves and flood of water: The actions of waves leave stones smooth and rounded. In the Drift almost all the stones are striated and grooved. No marine life or any life is found in the drift.
b.The action of Icebergs:Icebergs float clear of rocks or ground on them and do not appear to have the ability to striate stones.
c.The action of Glaciers: Glaciers do not produce striated stones. Nor do they produce drift clay. They could not have striated the stones of mountain tops.
d.The action of a continental Ice Sheet:(a)The present ice sheets of the remote north create no such deposits and no striations.(b)A vast continental elevation of land surfaces at the North was necessary for the ice to slide down and this did not exist. There is no drift in the coldest regions where there must have been ice.
The drift is found in the equatorial regions of the world. All life would have perished if this was the case that ice got that far. It didn't, so it couldn't have reached that far. In short, drift is not found were ice must have been present and is found where ice could not have been.
It appears that the predrift world was a tropical paradise, where tropical plants flourished within the artic circle. We certainly know from the frozen remains of Mastadons the the land was fertile in order to support these giant beasts. And since so many of them, within or close to the arctic circle died instantaniously, there is no way this could have been caused by a slow freeze up. Therefore what could have killed them instantaniously and so fast that clover was still in the mouth of one that was found. I offer this possibility; fortunatly today we know now what Donnelly didn't in 1883-5, that the Earth is surrounded for many miles out in space with a penumbra of a flowing forcefield
caused by our motion through space. In a way a form of protection maybe for our atmosphere, since some force must keep it around us. A close encounter of even thousands of miles out could and probably did interfere with our penumbra. It didn't have to hit us to harm us. It could have drawn some of the cushion of force from the high artic as it passed and for a short space of time all the air! Until the earths own motion filled that void again. That would or could have caused instant death and deep freezing
