I suffered from this when I was young and it wasn't until I went to
live with my Grandparents that I got help. My Grandmother used
Calamine lotion on my acne and it cleared up
My older brother also suffered from this problem and he solved it
by accident when he went to sea as a young sailor. The boat he was
on was bringing in oranges and the crew were allowed to eat all
they wanted to. We had not been very rich as children and so he had
not had many oranges in his life. Of course he ate a lot of them. At
first his skin broke out badly and then all of a sudden it cleared up
and he had no more acne. I believe that the acid in the oranges or
just the high amount of vitamin C that is contained in the oranges
cleared up the reason why his skin was breaking out in acne.
