This week's choice is Denial, Revisited (track 11 from "Conspiracy of One" by the Offspring).

It tells the story of a man who fights with his girlfriend a lot, but never seems to break it off or completely make up.

It's very slow for TO, perhaps their only other track as slow is
Gone Away (track 7 off "Ixnay on the Hombre").

Pehaps the best thing about songs like this is the honesty, because it doesn't try to portray relationships as simple or easy, unlike some of that sickly sweet poison that exists in our world, otherwise known as pop music.

I can't think of a lot more to say, just that this song is pretty emotional compared to some other of TO's music, showing that they do more than (in the words of some people I know) crash and bang.

One last thing, this song was recommended for song of the week (which actually became two weeks) by my great friend Luke. Thanks Luke for the idea, love Nina D.
