| This ahem week's song is Beheaded, track six from The Offspring first album, which was self titled. It tells the story of a man obsessed with cutting people's heads off and displaying them. Lovely topic for a humourous song I hear you cry, but when you listen to it, you can't help at least smiling. My favourite line would have to be, "All my collection adorns my room on Bamboo polls, It used to be a little but a little got more And more." It was co-written by Dexter Holland and TO's original drumer, James Lijan. There's not a lot more I can say about this one sadly, except that you should download it or borrow it or something because it's definately one worth listening too. And let's face it, if a song can make obsession with decapitation funny, it must be good. Seeya later. |
