Aural Perfection
Cleanliness is next to Godliness
About Us
Aural Perfection was founded on a basic audiophile problem.  We wanted perfectly clean records to get the ultimate sound from our beloved vinyl.  The problem with that is that the machines that accomlish this are very expensive.  Also the techniques used to operate these machines to their full potential needed to be learned and perfected before we could ever get your absolutely clean record.  Furthermore you need to run this machine and process in a "clean room" to avoid contamination after it is cleaned.  There are easier and cheaper ways of doing this, but they are inferior and not up to our standards.  Well us, as most people, diddn't want to pay the many thousands of dollars it takes to set up this type of thing, just to get clean records.  Well we talked to some music buddies of mine and found other who had this same problem, the want of professionally cleaned records, without all the time and money involved.  We looked for people to do this, but only found local record shops that diddn't put quality as their main concern.  My final conclusion was that there was no one who could clean my records well enough, so I must purchace the equipment.  So I did. I though i has made a stupid investment until my friends started giving me money to clean their records right.  This went on for a while until i had the idea of a mail-in-your-record type of operation. I found that there anre many people from aroung the world in need of this type of service.  Theydon't want to spend the time, money, and effort to clean their records when i can do it for them.  Thus was born Aural Perfection

My name is Ruben Yzaguirre, I have beed an audiophile record collector for 12 years.  I have the utmost regard for LPs and treat every customers as if it were my own.  I am for the preservation of the vinyl format, and secretly despise CDs.  I firmly believe in the sound superiority of vinyl and deal with it exclusively.  Our labor of love is based out of McAllen, TX, a city on the south texas/mexico border.  My favorite LP is the mfsl copy of "Muddy Waters - Folk Singer"
