"We dialed in this super-tight slapback delay, and ran the guitar signal through two different amps-- a Marshall JPM 800 head and a cabinet, and a Fender Twin."

"To explain this song, um, I have to somewhat explain the concept of the album, which i don't want to do because nobody's got it right yet. But I will tell you that the whole album that we put out - Machina, which includes the album that hasn't come out; um, is a concept album in which there's a story and the lead character's called Glass. So, this song Glass & The Ghost Children is about Glass. The Ghost Children would be some kind of combination of our audience which would be you. I wasn't exactly thinking of YOU, but people like you. And um, the idea is that Glass sorta speaks for, to, and about himself and the people he's trying to speak to which of course would be people like you. And um, in the song it's sorta half about what it's like to seek for deliverance.. drugs, god. And the other half is sorta a love story. People are always asking me what our songs about, my songs are about, and this is sorta like a painting; in like it doesn't have a literal meaning, but it does mean something"
