Interviewer: what about For Martha?

Billy: Well that's one of the songs that somewhat has to do with my mother, a lot of people assume that the song is about the death of my mother, but, it's really more of a tribute to her and her spirit and her memory. She gave me alot of strength and i've very proud of her, i was very proud of the way she lived her life, and really was so amazingly gracefull in her death which is hard for alot of people to understand. The song's really more of a tribute to her than it is you know, about that subject. Thats's where people get a little tripped up on the album, with the subject matter.
