06/07/06 We have a show this saturday at the One World Cafe with the Joyless Streets and the Gamma Gamma Rays. It's short notice...so you should come. We'll be playing around 7:30.

19/05/06 Hello. So Nigel is finished school and hopefully we can make the last of his three months here worth it before jets of to Queens University. We hope to play lots of shows soon and possibly record some more stuff before he leaves. For now though, we'll be playing at the Keep The Beat! Warchild fundraiser in the St. Patrick's High School Gym on the 31st of May, it will be an excellent time.

14/04/06 We had to drop out of our show last night due to Nigel's strep throat. But you can probably count on us being ready for Saturday. We'll try to really spread the word if we have to drop out. Yeah.

04/04/06 If you were to look at our shows page, you would notice that we have two show this month (April). One of which will be at the Mic Mac Canoe Club, and the other at the Bedford Firehouse. Each could be concidered a celebration of our newest release: Urban Fairy Punk is Dead. Please come.

19/03/06 Hello. When we said we'd have a CD ready by late Febuary, we really meant late March. But actually this time. After many, many delays, our new EP entitled Urban 'Fairy Punk is Dead' is finished and printing. If we're lucky, we'll have a few copies ready to go for our show this Saturday (25th of March at the Pavilion with The Grass and The Ghost Bees). It has six songs. And we like it. I'll put up some more information with regards to that soon, but for the time being: we have a show on Saturday, and a show on April 15th. Possibly a few more in April too. So, CD very soon, shows to go to.

01/02/06 We're opening for some especially good bands called Slyvie, From Fiction and Their Majesties on the Febuary the 25th. You should come.

16/01/06 Happy New Year! Come celebrate with us, 27 days later. (Pavilion - January 27th) Also, we've got some definite plans to record our new EP in a few weeks. So expect it to be ready by late Febuary. That's all.

11/12/05 Unfortunately, we won't be playing the St. Pat's Coffee House anymore, but you can come see us at The Pavilion on the 16th. For our last show of 2005.

27/11/05 Unfortunately, we won't be playing the City Field show anymore, but you can come see us at the St. Pat's Coffee House on the 14th. For probably our last show of 2005.

15/11/05 Exciting news, we'll be playing with City Field and other sweet TBA bands on December 3rd at the Pavilion, it will be great. Otherwise, we're pretty much out of commision for the rest of November. But don't worry, because we've been writing a bunch of new stuff and we have some tentative plans to record a new CD quite soon.

04/10/05 So two of our coffee houses have been set up. First one is at St. Pat's this Thursday. And the next will be on Friday the 28th at the (Tower Road) Grammar School. First coffee houses of the year are fun, so go.

04/10/05 We have a short set to play on Saturday for the Pavilion's Fall Showdown. Come out and vote for us, if you like. There are also numerous coffee houses being arranged, so keep checking for news about those.

08/09/05 Exciting news, The Porcelain Gods have been added to our show on the 16th. This will be (I think) their first all ages show since May, so you don't want to miss it. Also, we've put up a song from our EP on Pure Volume for you to listen to. Check it out.

05/09/05 New website finally up. Enjoy. And come to the show on the 16th.

29/08/05 So we finally have a show arranged, it'll be at the Pavilion with Great Plains and For Pluto. It's exciting because we can call our opening slot in this show an Official CD Release Party. Come listen to us, please. And the new website is...on the way.

19/08/05 As you may have guessed, we finished the EP called Crack Of Doom On The Hydrogen Jukebox. We're selling it for $5 a piece (four songs). If you want a copy, you can email me (Mike) and we'll arrange that you get it somehow. In other news, we're going to try to get a show sometime soon, for an EP release type thing. We've also got a bunch of new stuff in the works, so with any luck we'll have another record out before you get bored of this one. In other other news, we're giong to be completely rebuilding the website. Shouldn't take more than a week or so, once I get underway.

13/07/05 So recording is underway. Infact, it's finished. All we have to do now is the final mix. We should be printing them off and having them ready to sell soon. The PureVolume songs are now off the site. When we release the EP, we'll probably put up a demo of some sort.

08/07/05 Finally. We are recording this week. Expect our EP out within the next month.

19/06/05 We are playing a show with Special Noise and Filmore North this weekend. It'll be amazing, worth the twenty minute drive after the free Pilate show on the commons. It'll be at the Bay Road Firehall at seven o'clock for five dollars. If you need directions, click here. And come see us on the 30th at the Pavilion.

13/06/05 We have a show at the Pavilion on the 30th of June. It is a 'New Music Night', so it should be a good time. Most likely lots of bands will be playing.

28/05/05 We will be playing at Tone Deaf on Tuesday. Our performance will be a bit of a colaboration with our good friends in Sailboat Choke. Don't miss it, tickets are ten dollars and I believe it starts at 7.

24/05/05 Update on stuff. Let's see... we may be entering the Tone Deaf battle of the bands which is to take place on May 31, its still unsure, so we'll let you know. Right now, not much is going on. It's the end of the year and work is tough at the Grammar school, but it'll be all over soon. Hopefully we'll have a few shows going on in June, perhaps a showing at the Pavilion in the not so distant future. As for recording, we keep procrastinating more and more, but as soon as school is over we're going to have a go at it. Oh, and I should have mentioned it earlier this month, but we are being featured in the 'Spot Light' of the Pavilion's May edition of "The Scene" newspaper. Pick it up if you haven't already read it.

16/04/05 So we've been added to a benefit show for the Halifax Coalition Against Poverty. The show is at the Mic Mac Friendship Centre on April 28th. Make sure you come, only five dollars.

31/03/05 So the whole St. Pat's Coffee House thing can be disregarded, even though it's too late. It was just a rumor being passed around by the village idiot Sam Haliburton. The real one should be sometime in the second half of April, or so I hear. Next time we'll be sure. Battle Of The Bands tomorrow.

30/03/05 St. Pat's Coffee house tomorrow, woot. Short notice, I know, but we only found out about it today. We'll be playing a few songs so make sure you come. You won't want to miss Josh MacDonald and the other great talents of our wonderful school either. Oh, and don't forget about the Battle Of The Bands on friday!

24/03/05 Another Battle Of The Bands at the Pavilion. This time it's a round robin tournament type deal. April first will be the first round consisting of Halifax based bands, which is us. Unfortunately, we're going to have to miss our second Grammar School coffee house in a row because it's scheduled for the same day. Other than that, there will likely be another St. Pat's coffee house soon, so we'll try to get in on that, as well as pretty much anything else we can get oursleves into.

08/03/05 Picutres.

25/02/05 Time for an update. Nigel will be going away to Germany for two weeks, in about a week. So, it'll most likely be a while before we have any shows, but expect us to be back in full force around April. We've actually made tentative plans to record when Nigel gets back. That should be exciting. Other than that, we should have some relatively new material ready soon... and apparently Greg isn't gay.

25/01/05 Update on things: Nigel barely made it back on the train last Saturday, but he made it back in time for our show at the Pavilion, which was a good one. Right now, we're in the process of recording one or two more songs, they won't be great quality, but hopefully in the not too distant future, we'll actually go to a studio of sorts to make an EP/Demo. We've got a few new songs coming along aswell, so overall, things are good.

11/01/05 We'll be playing at the QEH coffee house tomorrow night. Come, it'll be fun. Starts a 7PM.

04/01/05 So we've got two show coming up this month. The battle of the bands rematch on the 22nd and now a Grammar School coffee house to be on the 14th. For one reason or another Nigel decided the world would be a better place if he went away to Quebec for a week. Luckily the he won't be missing anything, he leaves the day after the first show and returns the day of the second.

30/12/04 Battle Of The Bands Rematch! So apparently some people weren't happy with how the original was judged and they've organized a re-match at the Pavilion with all the original bands. The date will be the 22nd of January, make sure you don't miss it, because this time the crowd votes for the winner.

17/12/04 New song up on Pure Volume, it's called Sinking. We've even got lyrics ready on the songs page. Woot.

12/12/04 Battle Of The Bands pictures, yay! Cliqu here.

05/12/04 Due to a lack postage on the message board, it has been eliminated. And from here on in, it never existed. 2+2=5

26/11/04 In addition to it being Mike's birthday on Thursday, we found out for sure that we made it into the Dartmouth High School Battle Of The Bands. December 9th is the date, I believe there are four other bands so it should be lots of fun. Tell your friends.

21/11/04 Yay, we recorded one of our own songs! It's called Break My Spirits and you can download it at Pure Volume, click here.

19/11/04 The Coffe House was definitely a success. Quite a few people showed up to see us, Sailboat Choke, Lightning Rad and a bunch of other bands and acts. Lots of fun was had.

13/11/04 So both shows went pretty well this week. A good number of people showed up for both shows, which was good. I think there was around $600 raised at the Free The Children show. We are probably going to be playing at the St. Pat's High School Coffee House this coming Thursday, it's not really a big event but it should be lots of fun, make sure you come.

27/10/04 Another gig coming up. We're playing the pavilion on Friday, November 12th. All of you should come, for it should be quite intimate and perhaps even interactive. See you then. -Nigel

24/10/04 Ok, we've finally got a show booked. It will be another Free The Children Bennefit Show, to be held at the Halifax Grammar Shool on November 10th. Other bands playing will be The Porcelain Gods, Audity, Chuck's Wagon and possibly one other. I will post the time and cost when we know, shouldn't be more than seven dollars...

28/09/04 All right, the new site is pretty much done, it still needs some touch ups but I'm satisfied. We've been writing a bunch of songs lately a hope to some time not to far away from now get a few shows going and record some sort of EP/Demo type thing. We'll keep you posted.

13/09/04 Starting work on the new site. Should be done in a week or two.

23/05/04 We've just finished recording our take on Wave Of Mutilation by The Pixies. I'd say that so far this is our best recording, though that doesn't say a whole lot. I'll put it up here but again, Geocities really sucks so you'll only be able to download one song per hour. I'm working on getting that fixed but for now we've got to deal with it. Songs page.

09/05/04 I'm not sure why we keep posting about the garage as it probably doesn't matter to any of you but here it is. We've finally moved in to Greg's garage after a hell of a lot of work renevating it. It should be a much better practice space, mostly because the basement we spent nearly two years in was barely big enough to fit the drumset alone. Go to the garage page.

05/05/04 I am irrelevant! Let's see... The garage is almost done again, and ah... I got my driver's licence. I can't wait to hit some old people! In other news, we found a couple TVs and a Cassette Deck/Stereo Amp out for garbage. The latter should be helpful for mixing down the 4-track recordings.

25/04/04 Well the show was last night. There were a bunch of awesome bands there so it was kind of intimidating. We played six songs and I think it went pretty well. Click here for Details.

18/04/04 We've been practicing for the Free The Children Benefit Show quite a bit lately. We'll probably be playing five songs but if we can we might sneak in six. That's pretty much all the news as of late. Oh, if anyone cares, which I know you don't, we're almost finished our renevation on the garage that should have been done last summer.

04/04/04 Alright, since there has only been one recording on the site for a while, we figured that it's about time we put a new one up. The song is U-Mass. We recorded it a while ago, when we first got our four-track so it's not exactly perfect. Screwups are pretty consistent but it's good enough. Go here to get it.

01/04/04 The Coffee House date has been announced, it will be a little later than expected but it's going to happen. Details here.

23/03/04 Whoa, big lack of news lately. Anyway, our march breaks just ended so we haven't had a practice in about two and a half weeks. Which probably isnt' good concidering the coffee house is coming soon, we think. The garage is nearly done, probably a few solid hours of putting the finishing touches on and bringing all our gear in and we'll be done.

28/02/04 The coffee house will not be today, obviously. Although it will be rescheduled, it probably won't be until April. The Grammar School march break starts after this week so it will have to be after that which means it will be late March or early April.

20/02/04 Due to the huge snow storm that struck Halifax on thursday, the coffee house that was scheduled for the 21st has been postponed. Which, luckly for us, means that we will probably be able to play on the rescheduled date, since Greg will be back from his trip. As soon as we know the date, it will be posted.

19/02/04 It's Nigel's birthday!

12/02/04 We had been planning on playing at Nigel's school for the next coffee house, on Febuary 21st, but it seems we won't be able to, for details click here.

02/02/04 Yup so the site is back and ready for you to admire. Enjoy.

28/01/04 Ok. Ummm...apparently the new layout doesn't work to well on alot of browsers so I'm going to start working on something a little more basic that should work on most browsers. It will most likely be a few weeks before I finish so be patient if you notice that the site looks really awful at this point in time. Sorry about the inconvenience.

27/01/04 Sorry about the lack of news lately but I've been working on a new layout for the site. So if you see a few of the pages with a different layout don't worry, it'll will all be fixed soon. Anyway, we're currently working on some recordings on our new 4-track recorder, as soon as their done, I will post them.

07/01/04 I've added a News Archive at the bottom of this page so only the five latest storys will be on the opening page. Have fun.

03/01/04 I updated the songs page, we know have a recording up and ready to download.

21/12/03Well, we played at the Gorsebrook (Greg and Mike's school) coffee house last friday. For further details click here.

17/12/03 I updated the about the band section so now it contains a wealth of valuable information from which you can draw all kinds of interesting factoids. Let's see.... Oh, and I got a haircut so my hair is a good deal shorter than it was before (go figure). -Nigel

09/12/03 Ok, we've had a lack of news lately, so it's time we had a little update. We're not done yet but this site is coming along. We have a little something on each page now and we're still working, though not a whole lot, due to Nigel's eight different exams in one week. Anyway, make sure to visit the Message Board.

25/11/03 It's Mike's birthday today!!!! Holy crap, he's finally turned eight. That's awesome. And guess what: It's Jenn's birthday on Friday, and she's turning 16 so she'll be a whole year older than me even though I was born only three months after her. Weird, I wonder how that happened. Anyway, I know you're all eagerly awaiting my birthday, so to let you know, it's on the 19th of Februray and also the 6th of March and the 23rd of December. So yeah, if you want to get me presents on any or all of said dates, please feel free. Thanks a lot -Nigel

24/11/03 Hi, so yeah, I just thought I'd let everyone and anyone who comes here that it's my birthday tommorrow. Yay for me! -Mike

23/11/03 So guys, I've noticed that the rest of the construction team for this site has been soiling its beauty with countless spelling and grammar errors. I mean, I know I'll never be able to fix all of them, so I'd just like to take this moment to make it apparent that those which you see do not involve my contribution in any way. Thank you. -Nigel

23/11/03 Last night Petey took the liberty of making us a nice little message board. So anyone stopping by here is urged to check it out, sign up and talk.
PS - Progress is coming along nicely.

22/11/03 We've recently begun the construction of our website. Thanks to Petey Andriopoulos we will soon have a professionally done website to fulfill all your special needs.
