Van Helsing is an awesome movie and I decided to doll almost all the characters that I can!!!

It's Aleera, my favorite bride of Dracula!!! I'm really proud of how she came out, with everything (though I am noticing today(June 19) that her hair could be more curly in the middle section and a little lighter possibly). This is my second try and it is so much better compared to the first version. It's Van Helsing!!! Well I think this doll could be better. I'm happy that I got the hair to look atleast somewhat like his. Well I thought that would be a challenge and it was!!! He is so much smaller looking than the others because his base is crouching and Van Helsing is more muscular than this doll. Oh, well, atleast it has the same clothes. :) I actually started this doll right after Dracula I believe or maybe after I dolled Carl. Hmm... anyway, so I happened to finish her after what I thought would be impossible!!! I so wanted to buy the doll of her, but I couldn't find her in stores anymore!!! Ahhh!!! I was so mad. Anyway, I love how she came out!!! I didn't put straps down her legs(I don't even think they were meant to be seen from the angle that the legs are anyway), though I do love them in the movie. They're pretty handy. It took me forever to get the right pattern for the red ontop of the offwhite shirt as well as the pattern on the coat. I like the corset(isn't that what it is?), I think it came out really well and I'm also very pleased with her hair. It's hard to get good curly hair that looks sorta realistic, u know what I mean? It's Count Dracula!!! This guy rocks!!! I hope his hair isn't too brown and I'm sorry but I didn't to do the little design on the shoulder of his cloak. I'll try to do it later. I was so pleased with myself when I first made it because it was like, well I haven't even seen this movie yet. I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it, but what if I don't. So I recieved an award for it from Salli of Ice Shadow Dolls. She was surprised that I made it even before the movie came out too!!!
