The Rig Roost floats

This unique new product enables the angler to efficiently rest pole rigs that are longer than the top three sections, eliminating the need for expensive extra joints. You can now fish your swim to the maximum potential, especially in match conditions.

Three or four rigs could be needed to fish different positions within your swim. No problem when fishing a shallow canal because the total length of the rig would be most likely shorter than the top three. The Rig Roost caters for rigs longer than the top three. Normal procedure would be to add extra fourth, fifth or even sixth pole sections. When the rig is rested, joints slightly longer than the length of the rig are selected and the hook placed under tension into the bottom of the pole.

The resting rig procedure is efficient, but at what cost? The other alternative is to wind the excess line & shot onto a pole winder and secure it to the bottom of the top three, with an elastic band. This method is very cumbersome and slow when the rig is needed.
