A self- initiation. Accomplish this task and you may begin to call yourself a witch, for once you have found and acknowledged the spirit you have the power to cast a spell.
For this spell you will need:-
~ An oil burner
~ 3 drops of lavender oil
Sit cross legged, hands resting on your knees, palms facing upward. Close your eyes.
Breathe deeply through your nose, then out through your mouth. Do this until you relax and clear your mind of thoughts.
Now imagine yourself alone somewhere beautiful. A mountain, a beach, woodland. Transport yourself there in your mind.
Ask yourself what is the weather like?
Warm, sunshine, a strong breeze?
How does it feel on my skin?
What can i smell?
Salt, air, flowers, soil?
What can i hear?
Birds, waves?
the rustle of trees?
Contemplate the nature of the elements and how fire, earth, water and air all play their part in this environment.
In your own time return to the oil burner. Consider how each element is represented and how they work together.
Keep breathing in throught your nose and out throguh your mouth. When you truly understand you may lift your arms, palms facing upwards and say:-
" I acknowledge the presence of the spirit. I am its servant and its keeper. I may use its power to do my will, so long as none is harmed and it be the spirits will. "
:: I did this for an initiation spell, i found that it worked quite well, It comes with a feeling of complete inner peace, which is not a rear thing with good spell working ::
On a new moon after sunset, light a white and yellow candle.
Place a vase of carnations and a bay leaf nest to your candles, say aloud:-
" I call in the guardians and the power of the elements, to join with me in creating the energy to move the floe of creation. I allow my vision and my hearts desire to show me the path, and i affirm i step onto it with purpose, integrity, and ease.
I release this with gratitude and love and say so be it, and mote it be. "
Allow the candles to burn as long as you like. ( dispose of the bay leaf and flowers after they die )
