DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS to our BOXER BASH location!
Connemara Leash-Free Park
City: Dallas (Plano/Allen area)
Address: Tatum Street
Directions: From Dallas, go north on Central Expressway 75 to McDermott Exit in
Allen. Go west under the bridge were you'll go through 4 lights, the Park
is at the 5th light ..... 1) Central Expressway
(McDonalds) .. 2) No name ( Target on left - Tom
Thumb, Starbucks,
Chick-fil-a
farther down on right) .. 3) Waters Road (Home
depot on left - Lowes farther down on right) .. 4) Waters
Crossing (blinking light - Apartments on right) .. Then the next light is
5) Alma (across the street on the right is Kroger &
a Sonic, Wal-Greens on right (at light) - On the left is a small shopping
strip). Turn left on Alma, the road will go from 2 lanes to 1, it's an open
space/road ... there is a subdivision on your right, Tatum
Street (thin bumpy dirt road) is on your
left and it's 'hidden' with some trees. You'll have to park on it, and walk to
the park, it is NOT a long walk, at the end of the road is the park!
NOTE: If the street (Alma) turns back into 2 lanes,
and you get to the second subdivision then you have gone to far!
Hours: 6am-10pm
Comments: This is a large 50 acre (roughly) with open fields, trees and trails.
It is huge, with lots of creeks, no restrooms, no running water for humans, no
tables, no parking other than a tight long dirt road, no bikes, scooters, or cars allowed in
the park, food & water IS allowed in the park ... and DOGS and HUMANS!
