Galis: "It's a big honour for me" Nick Galis was honoured by Aris�s unprofessional department, as the Team�s greatest athlete of all times. "It's a big honour for me to be named as the top athlete in the history of Aris, by the unprofessional department, the one that trully keeps the team alive". Those were Galis' first words, when president of A.S. Aris, Nick Papadopoulos informed him that the decision of the unprofessional department is to honour him in a ceremony that will take place in the "Porto Palace" hotel, in the 25th of March. Aris celebrates its 93rd year of existence and Galis could not be out of it. "I'll be there and I'll be glad to see people that loved me as an athlete and still love me until today. It's a big honour to have my contribution recognised by the team whose jersey I wore for 12 years. I'm really satisfied". According to his statement: �Because of the content of an article, published by a valid newspaper, entitled �Galis-Papaloukas collaboration�, in 16-2-2007, and also because of some other indefinite articles, according to which I appear to be collaborating with the excellent international basketball player (Papaloukas) in a Children�s Camp in July 2007, that as it�s mentioned, is taking part in Pefkohori of Chalkidiki, and finally because I want to avoid to confuse the readers and the children�s parents, who make plans for their children�s vacations in 2007, I�m obliged to make clear that: 1. Any relation between me and the Camp in Pefkohori (Chalkidiki) is over a long time ago, as it is with the company that owns it. (from whom I have walk out for good) 2. Any collaboration between me and any company or person, will be announced officially by myself. 3. Taking advantage of my name without my approval, is unallowable immoral and illegal.� Meanwhile, it's seems like Galis will give his GALISCAMP space to Papaloukas, to organize his PAPALOUKAMP on his responsibility. The greatest Greek basketball player of all times, was again in the arena where he lived the biggest moments of his incredible career, in order to watch the game between Aris and Dynamo Moscow. 6000 fans of Aris cheered for him, as a minor showing of gratitude for all the moments of glory that Galis offered to the team, after 12 years of playing, wearing the black and yellow jersey. �In some moments, it came into my head to get in and play!
