I literally fell in love with this small car at first sight. During a couple of my visits to Italy in last few years, I saw great number of them. They seem to be favored by the fairest sex. On one hand their size makes them cars of choice for overcrowded streets of Rome or Naples, and on the other hand they posses enough space for all day to day needs. They are really driven a lot, but at first I stayed indifferent. 
However, when I saw a version made by Swiss tunning house Benz Design, it was love at first sight, the kind what happens once in a life time. Thoroughbred race car, while inside there's leather, air conditioner, stereo commands on a steering wheel, air bag, ... I didn't think too much, everything played out very quickly. If only things could so easily be resolved in love too!!! 

Let me say a few words about this engine. Original Lancia Y 1200 16V Elefantino Rosso has 86 HP, in Benz Design version power is around 120 HP, and in version with a turbo charger Garret which was developed by Sergio Gasperini it has amazing 153 HP - Truly impressive!!!
