a glimpse of Ralph Waldo Emerson and his "tree hugger" ways. Be prepared
for the bushy sideburns!
Lisa did a wonderful
feminist rendition of her critic Laura Mulvey. She also brought several
lovely pictures that sent her critic into a hissy fit!
Katie S. was a
very animated Friedrich von Schiller. Ode to Schiller--you'll see!
Dan was read us
a great poem by John Dryden. However, when it comes to European anthems
he is hilarious!

Tonight we ran through our group presentation once.
We were each assigned a critic and to write a section of the play in our
persona.
Dan is "Neo"
Brian is "Herb" the husband
Lisa is "DeeDee" the wife
Katie is "Plotinus" the ghost of critics past
I am "P.B. Shelley" the ghost of Romanticism
Brian brought Scandinavian Chocolate! We love Brian! :-)
Lisa had a hilarious Thanksgiving Day story that she may write a journal
entry about!
Planned on meeting Monday night to rehearse once more . . .

Decided on one novel to take off the MSU top 100 book list: Finnegan's
Wake--simply because James Joyce has 2 books on the list . . .
Decided to add Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings"
decided on 4 topics; assigned the topics to each person to put into our
skit
