This was the first time I saw the river in Great Divide glowing at night. It's a really cool effect. They got better with water in Kunark (think river in Warslik woods), and perfected it in GD!
Strike a pose!!     This is Tealen and my warrior Nikkey on their first trip to Velious. These outcrops of crystal dot the landscape in the snowy area's of Velious, not only do they glow in the dark but as you get closer to them they hummmmm. The river that runs through Great Divide (in the back ground) is pretty nifty too. Glow in the dark!!
This photo was taken some time ago, I'm not sure what I was doing down there. This was an area of Upper Guk that I'd never been into in my Guk hunting days. Nikkye at 54 and with a friend for invis made exploring easier. Just wondered who these dweebs on the walls were hehe.
This set of wizard spires (if you've been here you know that there are actually 2 sets, one what we consider the "normal" size, and one HUGE set) is located near the druid ring in Dreadlands. The ruins of some old city, the trees, the towering pyramids, flags flapping in the wind and the fabulous colors of the trees (reminds me of fall in New England) make this a wonderous spot to visit.
Got my cleric into Hate for the first time last weekend. Was pretty crazy for me, too much to look at and learn to really take too many screen shots, and it's really hard to get nice critter photos when they're being nuked like that.
This picture was taken on the "West Wall" of hate where you can sorta poke your head up thru the ceiling and look at the floor above you, minus the floor, hence the strange bottom to the column.
I really hope to go back up, it's a really intresting looking place, like a demonic city and totally unlike fear.
This is one of the giant fortresses that I've found to be so much fun, and so very facinating in Kunark. This one is located in Dreadlands, but I know of another in Warslik Woods, Burning Woods, and Frontier Mountains.
I seem to be rather taken with the sunsets in Dreadlands. This one was taken while I was running from one Yeti cave to another to join some guild mates. Thought the little giant outpost in the foreground was a nice tough.
Please don't try this at home kiddies, shortly after snapping this photo I took 485 points worth of falling damage! ouch!
Another shot of Nikkye's beautiful home land, Steamfont. These large gears are located near the minotaur caves. You can see in the foreground one of the fountains of steam for which this area is named, plus if you look close you can see the spider I caught climbing up on the gear - can we say "Falling Damage"???
The land my character grew up in, Steamfont. One of it's most famous landmarks is this set of three windmills. Not the best photo ever, I think I'll work on getting another, but they're just magnificent from any direction (and they do work!)
