| First off, open the image you want to dither. The one I chose is below. Now, make a new copy of that image. (COPY>PASTE AS NEW IMAGE) |

| Next, select one of those images and go up to COLORS>DECREASE COLOR DEPTH>2 COLORS (1 BIT) then check off GREY VALUES, ORDERED DITHER, & WEIGHTED. Here's an example: |

| After doing this, your image should now look something like this: |

| Now you have to increase the color depth so that you can work with it correctly, so go to COLORS>INCREASE COLOR DEPTH>16 COLORS (4 BIT). After you've done this, you need to go up to LAYERS>PROPERTIES and set the opacity to around 30. You can increase or decrease the strength of the dithering to your own liking. And lastly, you can go to LAYERS>MERGE>MERGE ALL (FLATTEN). Your new image should look something like this below. |
