I mistakenly thought that Marriott took over the resort where we stayed during our previous visit, however, it just took over the entire Frigate Bay area, thus making Jack Tar obsolete. Depending on which taxi driver we asked, Jack Tar has been closed since 1998 or just reopened 3 weeks ago. Judging by the rusty cars in the front lawn, lack of patio furniture on the balconies, and 7 cars in the parking lot, it is probably not open.
To reacquaint ourselves, we did an island tour this time, too. We visted many of the same places, and some new places.
