So Yahoo is closing Geocities by the end of this year and they are moving websites to a new software system/webhosting site.  At this time I do not know how the web address will change and I will obviously let you all know when I do :)

I have only until July 1st to post blogs.  The blog portion of the site will be closed on that date.  Just an FYI, if you all are wondering.

So onto the wonderful world of Siddons....

I am sorry I have not blogged for awhile.  I have just been so busy with work, etc.  Every time I feel like I am ahead of the game something pops up and I get behind again :( 



Oh, well.... such is life. 

So, some new news...I am starting Graduate School in fall.  I will be going back to UW-Milwaukee for the Family Nurse Practitioner Program.  I will end up with a Doctorate in Nurse Practitioning.  My title will be DNP.  I am really excited to embark on this chapter of my career. 

Derek is also planning on taking some classes in the fall towards finishing his degree in business.  So we will be a busy family come fall!

The kids have been great.  Skyler is so big I cannot believe it.  She is now 7 years old.  She had a great birthday party at a ceramics place where Kathy and Gram helped out tremendously!  A big thanks goes out to you guys!  She is still into dance and soccer.  However she is taking soccer off for the spring and will resume in the summer.  Her dance recital is on June 13th.  She is very excited for that.  Ice skating has ended for the yaer and so has piano lessons.  I am grateful for those things to come to an end :)

Brett is doing awesome!  He is growing so big.  He is socially and intellectually blooming.  He will also be starting soccer this summer again.

Ayden is growing up into a little man.  He is now completely potty trained, as in we don't even have to really remind him.  Our house is also "sassy" free.  Meaning we tossed away all of the pacifiers.  Yay!  I am so excited.  He will be starting school in fall.  An even bigger YAY !!!  I cannot wait to have no more babies at home!

Other than that we have been relaxing at home.  Taking life one day at a time.  We have recently acquired two more pets...we now are proud owners of Axolotls.  Axolotls are underwater lizard/amphibian like things.  That have taken board in Brett and Ayden's room.  The kids love them.  I am however, done with pets.  NO MORE :)

My brother is still living with us.  It has been a wonderful situation.  He has been very helpful and life for us has been a lot easier having an extra adult around.  It has been nice to actually get some sleep.  He is working at the Home Depot and seems to like it a lot.  He will be starting school focusing on the criminal justice program in fall at Gateway Technical College.

Other than that, I have accepted a full time 40 hour per week position at work for the next 12 weeks.  I am a glutton for punishment.  The boss gave an offer I couldn't refuse!  And Derek and I figure it will pay for college come fall.  I was looking forward to having a lot of vacation time this summer and only working 2 or less days per week, however as I said before the money deal was just too good to throw away.
