Hello, Hello, Hello....

How is everyone??  We hope the sun is shining brightly in your corner of the world! 

Life has been going very fast since I last blogged.  We have had a lot going on in our little family.  I have picked up a tremendous amount of hours and I am also kept busy with my previous life comittments with the kids' school, church, etc.

The kids have been great.  Ayden is pretty much all the way potty trained.  He is doing wonderful, he is talking so much and doing such a good job of it.  Brett is continuing to do great at school.  He loves it and wishes he could go every day.  He is still wildly into Transformers.  It is too cute! 

Skyler is growing so fast.  She is reading so well and doing so many things!  I am so proud of her.  She is even doing spelling tests now!  I cannot believe that they do that in first grade.  She also just had her first sleep over.  It was at our house.  Her little girlfriend came over and they did make up and nail polish, then we went to the movies.  We didn't get home until after 10:30!  Then the girls chatted themselves to sleep and woke up bright and early on Saturday and resumed play.

Big News, Big News, Big News....

Derek has received a job offer, after much hard work and many more interviews and emails.  He has been working diligently these last couple of weeks to try and find employment.  He has had a great deal of phone interviews and he has also been to some.  He currently has a job offer from H & R Block to be a district manager.  He is really looking forward to change and it seems H & R Block is a stable company, during these tough economic times.  Derek still has a few interviews planned but as of right now he is looking forward to employment with H & R Block.

Yay, Yay, Yay!!!

Not much else to report.  I know I promised to update the pics soon, sorry.  I have been so, so busy!  Maybe soon...give me a week!
