Hi Guys~

Home Sweet Home, Sweet Home!!!  We are finally getting settled in.  It takes a little while to get used to not being able to do everything right away, but gradually I am able to do more and more.  Thank Heavens that Derek was able to stay home all last week.  That was a huge great surprise.  Originally he was supposed to be in Chicago for Leadership conferences but after talking to his boss, he decided it would be best to be at home.  Which I really needed, so Yay! 

Ayden is doing great.  He lost a little weight (which most babies do at first) and is now weighing 9 pounds 2 ounces.  He is eating well though and should be catching up here shortly.  I was dreaming that he would be like Skyler and sleep 8 hours on his first night home but we are out of luck there.  He is an avid feeder and wants to eat every 3 to 4 hours.  Which isn't bad to some babies who want to nurse every 2, but still is hard to get used to and basically just plain old sucks!  I like my sleep, if you all couldn't tell! 

The kids are adjusting well to having a new baby in the house.  They both absolutely love and adore him.  They are quick to hand out kisses, hugs, and "I want to holds".

We feel very lucky to have been blessed with three healthy and happy children.

Derek leaves for Las Vegas on Sunday for the week and my family will be here staying with me.  I am very fortunate we have all these people willing to come and stay with us! (Thanks Carolyn--who was already here for 5 days during Ayden's arrival)  When Derek is there he is planning on getting his first tattoo.  He is planning on getting the kids' names on his foot.  He has spent countless hours searching on the internet for a cool design.  He is planning on getting it at the Hart and Huntington shop.  Which is a tattoo parlor showcased on a reality TV show called Inked on A & E.
