Current happenings in our lives!!
Entry for December 20, 2007

So it has been the land of Pukeheads here at the Siddons household since Sunday.  As I was driving home on Sunday with the kids from Minnesota, Ayden decides it is the perfect time to get the GI flu.  He starts vomiting like crazy.  I am pulling over every 15 minutes to every hour.  Finally we make it home.  He sleeps tight but the next day it is coming out his rear end by one in the afternoon I start with the vomiting.

Then we have a one day reprieve, where it seemed like all was well.  We were just lazy and recovering.  Well come Wednesday, school calls Skyler is in the office feeling sick.  I go and pick her up.  We walk in the door...not ten seconds later does she vomit on the floor!  All evening it was vomit everywhere.  Gave her a bucket....do you think she could hit it??  Funny thing is we all laid down for a nap thinking it might help and she came to wake us up to tell us she was gonna get sick....She vomits ALL over our bedroom and ALL over Daddy!!!  OH, my goodness!

Well by evening she was all puked out and just laid all over the floor.  Derek said he never did that.  I distintly remember wanted to lay on the kitchen floor whenever I was sick.  Anyone else???

We all went to bed about 8:30.  Much to my dismay Brett tries crawling into bed at about 11:30.  I talk Derek into walking him back to bed.  Suddenly I hear, "Honey...I think he puked".... At this point I am thinking well either it's puke or it isn't...Which is it??  I decide I better just get up, it is much easier this way.  So the sauerkraut with ketchup he ate for dinner is clearly in his doorway and the poor peanut had tried to clean it up before he attempted to crawl in bed with us.  So clean up on aisle 3 all over again.  Our carpet cleaner really got a work out.  I was hoping it was a one hit wonder vomitting episode but boy was I wrong.  I was up all night, slept on the couch with him and helped him "get sick" in a bucket every 30 minutes to 2 hours.

I am hoping it misses Derek.  Boy would it really suck if he got sick now.  He is working like 16 to 18 hours days.

The kids have their Christmas concert  tonight.  Should be a blast!  Since they are indeed feeling better.
