Hello Everyone~

How are you all?  We are doing well.  Not too much new to report.  Kind of the same old, same old....kids are busy with school, us with work. 

Things have been really great since I started my new schedule.  The rotation of shifts is really nice.  I only ever work three days in a row every other weekend.  I work usually in one or two day stints.  I have been going to a slew of new classes for advanced cardiac life support and trauma nursing.  I guess the learning is never quite over, especially when you are in the medical field. 

Brett's Birthday party went awesome!  It was great to hang out with friends and family.  Brett loves his Hummer.  He is always driving it around.

Skyler loves school.  Everyday is an adventure.  In fact her first field trip is coming up in October.  Brett is also going on a field trip.  I am very lucky that I will be able to chaperone them.  I am very excited for that!  Probably more so than they are!  Dance has started again and this year she has Ms. Laura, the owner of the studio, apparently this means she has to follow the rules to a T and no slacking off!!  So far she is adjusting well!

Ayden is literally running every where.  He is into everything.  He is as naughty as Brett.  I cannot believe the difference between girls and boys.  I thought he was going to be this perfect little angel.  Wrong!!!  100% boy!

Derek continues to put his heart and soul into his work.  He is doing so great as a district manager.  He recently won a new tv and blue ray player!!  We are very proud of him.  We sometimes miss him though, on his busier weeks.  It was nice that he didn't have to leave until 9:30 this morning.  We actually got to be a little lazy together!  He has lost 40 pounds, so he is doing great.  He wants to lose about 5 more.  I wish I could drop weight that fast!  I guess we all do! 

That is all I can think of right now.  I will be posting pictures shortly of Brett's party.  We are going to Go, Diego, Go in October and also to Wisconsin Dells---get this:  for a full family get away/vacation!!  Yes, Derek will be there!!!!  Yay!  So I am sure I will have more to post soon!
