Hello Everyone~

We hope this note finds you all fairing well!  We have had a couple of hectic weeks.  We have been to a couple of different places including the Betty Brinn Children's Museum and a beautiful park for Fourth of July.  Also this last weekend Derek and I decided to go all out and finally get some upgrades that our kitchen has been begging for.  I----and I mean I, laid Pergo laminate flooring in the kitchen and dining room.  It looks absolutely beautiful!!!  Derek was in Kansas City when I was doing it and he was "pessimistic" about the project but he came home and is in love with it!!!  I also decided to add handles and knobs to our cabinets.  We also upgraded the sink and faucet, however the plumber neighbor guy is going to put that in this weekend.  Our kitchen is totally different....totally wonderful!! 

I also decided to finally paint our bedroom like I have been wanting to.  I got two of the main walls done with the accent color.  The closet areas and the other two main walls will be a light taupe-ish brown color.  It already looks really good!  I should have just become a regular old interior decorator!

The kids are continuing to grow like weeds.  Ayden took his first steps alone!!!!!!!  Not much since then though!  He is doing well, trying to talk and gets into everything.

Brett is the same old dude.  Trouble is his middle name one second and then he changes it to Perfection!  At least I get good moments, right??

Skyler cannot wait for school to start.  I have already asked several of the docs I work with if I can get a prescription for some Valium that day!!!  I don't think I can handle her going to school.  What am I gonna do all day without my goosey bug??  I even asked her if she would like to be home schooled....I got a, "Hmmmmm, not really...I want to go to elementary and play with friends mama", as a reply.

Derek is doing good.  His boss got replaced, and not in a good way if you get my drift.  He has a knew guy in charge.  At first he was weary, as everyone is with change, however he is finding that he really likes the new big man in charge!

I had the last week off, thus getting more stuff done around the house.  Last night was the first night back, I'm not even gonna lie....It was TOUGH! 

I am going to work on getting the 256 pictures from the last month uploaded....included are before and afters of my beautiful floor....and into albums, and from there online for your viewing pleasure.  Hope summer is cool or hot, whichever you prefer!
