Hello Everyone~

How are you?  It seems like we have been looking forward to school getting out and we thought we would have so much free time, but we have quickly found that there is always something that must be done! 

We have made a couple of home improvements since school let out.  I have tiled the kitchen backsplash.  It looks really nice.  I cannot believe that I did it.   We've done some major cleaning and throwing out of old stuff.  We enlarged the vegatable garden.  And the list goes on....

Poor Ayden has been put through the ringer.  Skyler decided she was going to go outside, without asking, and went out through the garage, leaving the door open.  Ayden saw his chance to escape and went after her.  He fell down the two cement steps into the garage onto the cement floor.  Derek caught him by his leg so the impact wasn't so hard, but he still has road rash to his nose and a little to his forehead.

Needless to say Skyler was in BIGGGG Trouble!!  Otherwise she is doing good.  Loving soccer.  She is going to go to a soccer camp for a couple evenings later in June.  We are also thinking about putting her into the summer soccer league (July through August).  Ayden has faired better since the accident.  We have been crazy protective of him.  It is like he is living in a little bubble.  Poor guy....

Brett has been doing well.  He is still a little stinker and always will be.  He really, really wants to play soccer.  I am so sure he will be great at it when he does get a shot, since he is currently practicing all the time!

Derek is doing well.  Work, work, work.  The poor guy didn't even get to enjoy his 31st birthday....yes, he just turned 31 yesterday.  He was online, on the phone, and working through some presentation stuff all day.  On top of trying to mow the yard, etc.

I am starting orientation this week and then I will be onto working about 4 days a week until orientation is over.  They feel you need to work a lot to get a great orientation.  Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!!!  Derek is so not happy about that.  He is already begging me to quit!
