Hi Guys~

I hope you are all doing great!  We have had a wonderful couple of weeks, besides the fact that we have both been busy working.  We have been able to just focus on life, instead of crazy busy time at Circuit City and school.  The kids of course will always take the lead in our life.  So that hasn't changed. 

School starts on January 16th.  Skyler cannot wait to get back to school.  She is dying to see all of her friends again.  I wonder how bored she will be with me over the summer?  We are looking into getting her involved in either soccer or t-ball this summer.  She is a very active little girl, so it is fun to let her participate in sports.

Brett is so busy.  He is talking better and better everyday.  Most everyone can completely understand him now.  His favorite thing to do is call Gramma on the phone and blabber.  Potty training is going okay.  He is at a point where he goes pretty well in the morning but in the afternoon doesn't want to tell us or go.  He sometimes wets his pants and tells us afterwards that he has to go.  It is a work in progress.  I am just really trying to be consistent. 

Ayden is doing great.  He is basically just wanting to eat food though.  He refuses milk sometimes.  He is a naughty, naughty boy!  Brett loves to get him involved and play with him.  It is so fun, you can already tell they are going to be great buddies.

This weekend is going to be Derek's first time with the kids by himself for a whole 24 hours.  I am going to go to Green Bay on Saturday and spend the night for a bridal shower and bachelorette party for my friend Jackie Feuling.  Her and Nate Van Den Heuvel will be getting married February 3rd.  It should be a good time, however I am a little bit worried for leaving the kids so long.  I am sure he can handle it!  I need to calm down!!!  Have a great weekend.
