Hello Everybody~

We want to wish you all a belate Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

What a BUSY couple of weeks!!  I have been gone from home with the kids for most of the time.  Derek was home for a short while but joined us for most of the trips! 

We were in Illinois for Christmas and then shortly after in Minnesota to celebrate for the holidays.  We had a great time with everyone and would like to say thank you to everyone who invited us in to their homes.  And we cannot say thank you enough for those of you that helped out by entertaining and playing with the kids.  They really enjoyed all the company!

Skyler got a MAJOR haircut.  She donated 12" of hair to Locks of Love.  She said it is for the little girls who don't have any hair.  She is such a peanut!  So cute! 

Brett LOVED Christmas.  He is at the age where he just wanted to open the gifts he didn't care what was in the package.  He even helped everyone and their mother open presents!  It was a nightmare keeping him from opening gifts I had just wrapped and put under the tree!  He beat me to them a couple of times.  With being gone so long, potty training hasn't been going to well.  But when we are home he seems to get it.  I am really working hard with him this week and hopefully I will reap the rewards!

Ayden is great!  He is at such a fun stage now.  He is playing with the kids so much and babbling at them.  He hates to be alone, probably because he has lived with so much commotion all his life! 

Derek is working hard and I am picking up hours like crazy at the hospital.  Most of you know that I work only in the Emergency Room, so you can imagine third shift on New Years Eve!  It was crazy, but really great experience and even BETTER stories.  Some so explicit, you'll just have to ask!  Hehehehe!
