What if he told you that he missed you?
What would happen once those words were said?
Would you take him back with open arms?
Or are your wounds too deep?
What if he told you that he loved you?
What would happen then?
Does all the hurt and pain disappear?
Or does it all come flooding back?
What if he told you that he needs you?
What would happen from that point on?
Would you cry and say you need him too?
Or would you protect your heart from his deadly hands?
What if he told you that he cared?
What would happen after that?
Would it end up being the biggest lie of all?
And is it wise to take that chance?
