Nikita walked into Section thinking today was like any other.. She made her rounds to see Birkoff and Walter before heading to Michael's office..But he was not there. So Nikita went and asked some people if they had seen Michael. If anyone knew anything they did not say anything..But unknown to her there was two people at the Section who knew where he was.
" You still have not found him?" Birkoff asked.
" No, but I am going to ride over to his apartment and see if he is there... This is just not like Michael to just not come into Section..
"You can't go right now" Birkoff interupted.."Operations wants to see you.."
What have I done now she thought to herself. Nikita was all ready to be yelled at, but that is exactly what didn't happen..
"We sent Michael on a simple mission to pick up a man named Justin Walker..He is an informant and we wanted him in for questioning. But we told the backup to stay far away from the sight so that they would not scare him off. We think that he set Michael up.."
" Well is he still on the mission. Or is he at home... He hasn't been hurt has he?" The more questions she asked the more scared she got...
Operations was sitting in a chair right next to Madeline. You could tell that there was something wrong with them.. She braced herself because she knew that something was not right...But never expected to hear what she did....
"Michael is dead ,Nikita!" Madeline said. Pain was evident on her face..This had to be a dream. Not Michael, the man that she loved., the only reason that she made it through Section. Dead. This can't be. Not him..
You could see the tears come up in her eyes... She did not know what to say..After a couple of minutes she was finally able to get out the word, "HOW?"
Madeline and Operations knew that this question was coming, but they still did not know what to say.. And also they knew that it was partially their fault for allowing the team to remain so far away...They did not know what she might do..But they decided to give her the truth..Well some of it..
" He was sent on a special mission that was suppose to be all routine.. All that he had to do was pick up the target and bring him back here for questioning. And we believe that they were also looking for him ,too."
" As Michael followed hi into the alley, someone jumped behind him and hit him over the head with a bottle. The backup team saw this but was unable to do anything because as they got to the scene , the men and Michael were gone."
" But you said that he was dead. A little hit over the head would not have killed him..Where did they take him... Do you know?" Nikita asked as she never took her eyes off them...
All Madeline would say was, We got a transmission from a group this morning sayin,'That Michael would not give them any information so they just went ahead and killed him and that he would not be the last.'
" So you did not see Michael's body.. You do not know for sure that he is dead." Nikita said trying to make herself believe that he was still alive.
" Why would they lie.. They should know that we would come after them for this.. He should know that he would be better off to use him.." Madeline said...
"Michael is always on the first team. They were trying to buy time to ready themselves for us. Because I bet that they are after Section, not the target..Think about it.. The target was right there in front of Michael and they grabbed Michael instead of the target.." Nikita's answer made sense.. And they wanted to believe that he is still alive..Because they sent him on a mission that they knew was risky because they could not let the backup team be within range.
"You get Birkoff get a location so that we can go and get Michael out of there." Nikita ordered not caring what they thought about it..All she cared about was getting Michael out.
"You can get killed on the mission. Are you sure you want to do it? We do not even think that he is alive." Madeline explained..
Without even batting an eye Nikita said, "Find the location and I will get him out." After this she walked out of the office she went to Walter's station .
"What's up , Sugar? You look worried about something."Nikita explained the situation to him..
"I need some of your best weapons. I am going to have to go in there and get him out alone. I would be to risky to send anymore people.. I just hope that they find the location soon.'
As if it came on cue , Operations came over the intercom telling her to come up to his office..
" We found where he is but we still do not know if he is alive." Operations said.. Birkoff began telling Nikita that he invented a new kind of tracking device...He had decided to test it out on Michael...
Operations said,'' You leave first thing in the morning and....''
Nikita did not allow him to finish before saying," I leave now!!!" He did not argue with this because he knew that this was one that he could not win.
Nikita went to Walter and picked up the gear. And then was on her way. When she got to the location all she could feel was dread.. She started thinking what if Michael really is dead. She started to stop herself from thinking this. She finally entered the abandoned building.
There was two men sitting in what looked to have been the lobby. She decided that she would have to take them out to get past them. So she put the silencer on her gun and killed them with two quick shots..
As she made her way through the building killing one guard after another..Finally she came to a room that had noone near it.. She knew that something was wrong for noone to be here when the rest of it was so heavily guarded.. She was right... About that time the doors leading into that room opened... They were coming from everywhere. She could fight them but she thought about it and decided to let them take her because they might take her to Michael. But she had to put up a little fight to make it look convincing.. But one of them pulled out a shot and stuck it in her leg and it knocked her out.....
When Nikita came to she realized that she was chained to a bed.. The room had two beds in it. But she could not see who was in the other bed..Because it was to dark in the room.
Suddenly the lights came on and she could see that it was Michael in the other bed. He was alive , but he was still unconcious..
Then she turned her attention to the man in the doorway.. It was a tall man , about 6'4" with short brown hair and a scar on his chin. He turned and walked toward Michael with a syringe...
"What are you doing to him?" Nikita screamed...
The man just laughed , " We would not want him to miss the show.." And with that he gave Michael the shot in his neck and walked out of the room...
After only a couple of minutes Michael started to come around..When he opened his eyes the first thing that he saw was Nikita..
Michael said," What are you doing here? Why did you come?"
Nikita smiled and said, "You should know the answer to that by now.."
They talked for a while on how they could get out of there...Suddenly the door flew open again, It was the same man that has been in there earlier.
"Are you ready for the show?" he asked Michael..
And then he turned his attention to Nikita..As he walked up to her smiling, Michael knew what he was about to do.
As she saw the man coming to her she tensed up..She was not going to let him touch her...As the man leaned over her in the bed. She began to kick wildly..
All he said was" If you keep fighting me Michael will die." Nikita still fought him.. So the man called a man to come in there...
He told the man to kill him..So he stuck the gun to Michael's head ...
Nikita screamed " STOP!" So he told the man to leave that there would not be any further problems..As he started to undress her, she could see Michael and the anger in his face.. It was the anger that he was helpless and did not know what to do..
As Nikita laid there with tears streaming down her face, she closed her eyes...
About that time she heard Michael say," If you touch her you die and there is no one that can stop me from killing you." The man just turned and laughed..
Then he turned back to Nikita.. He leaned down and pulled a knife out of his boot.. First he cut her shirt open and then her bra.. He continued to undress her.. And all of his attention was on her..After he was through undressing her he began to run his hands over her body... This made her sick to have him touch her.
While he was trying to enjoy himself with Nikita, he did not notice that Michael was nearly out of his handcuffs..Nikita did not know either because she had her eyes closed tighly to try to block out what was about to happen...She suddenly felt the man being lifted up off of her..When she opened her eyes she saw that Michael had him by the throat... A big sigh of relief ran through her body...
Michael handcuffed the man to the bed.. Then he turned his attention back to Nikita. As he walked toward her he saw more tears.. But these were tears of happiness..Michael again had come through for her.. Michael undid the cuffs.. As Michael was helping her up from the bed , she jumped up and put her arms around him...He took off his black jacket and put it over her... He told the man that he was going to help them get out without any further problems.
Once they were about a mile away they called Section and told them to come and pick them up.. After about 45 minutes the van showed up.. They soon found themselves back at Section..
As Nikita walked in everyone noticed that Nikita did not have any clothes on under the short jacket. Madeline also saw this from the window in Operations office.. She was down on ground level in about a minute with a robe for Nikita....She also told some men to take the man to the White Room for questioning..
She turned back to Nikita and Michael saying " I am glad that you are both alright.."
Michael glared a Madeline and said," Nikita is not alright she needs rest." Then he turned to Nikita and told her to go to her room in Section and put some clothes on and lie down and rest.
Madeline did not say a word. She knew that Michael was mad and wanted some explanations..So she escorted Michael up to Operations office.. She asked him to sit down and listen..."We are sorry that this happened to you.... And that we did not tell you the truth about the mission.. We did not tell you that back up would be so far away.. But we had our reasons.."
Without even paying attention that he had been given he said," Why in the world send Nikita to this place ? you knew that it would probably be dangerous."
Before Operations could say a word Madeline answer that. They could not stop Nikita from going once she learned you were in danger.. Even when she thought that you were dead she still wanted to go..She said that she had to make sure that you were o.k.
Michael continued to glare as he said "Well then you owe me something..When you get through questioning him I want him."
"For what?" Madeline asked...Michael simply answered "for disposal...I made a promise."
Both her and Operation's nodded there head. They owed him that much.. So Michael told them that he was going to check on Nikita would be back in a while to deal with the man. Then he walked off.

NIKITA'S ROOM
Michael came to the door and said, "Nikita can I come in?" Nikita jumped up and let him in.
"How are you feeling? Are you o.k.?" He asked with concern in his voice. .
Nikita smiled and said, " I am better now that I have clothes on." Nikita let out a small laugh..
Michael could tell that she was still a little shaken. So he once again walked up and put his arms around her.. She slowly stopped shaking as he held her..
"You never have to give into someone like that because of me." Michael said.
" Well I knew that you would come through for me. Just like you always do.. I guess that is why I love you." Nikita said before she realized it.
Michael did not act shocked by this .. He simply said " I thought about this for a long time today. As I saw that man putting his hands on you, I began to wonder if I was going to get the handcuffs off in time to stop him. I also wondered if we would make it out at all.. I decided that I would tell you how I feel.. You said that you love me for my ability to always be there for you...Well I want you to know that I love you for many different reasons, For you strength , for your love of life, and protecting the innocent no matter what the cost to yourself. I love you for you and I always will.." And he leaned over and kissed her very softly on the lips."
Nikita said" You know that I have loved you for a long time..And when I love you the most is when the real Michael comes out..Like now."
He kissed her a little more passionate this time.. He put his arms around her and gave her a big hug before he told her that he had some business to take care of. But that he would be back soon as he could..

THE WHITE ROOM
Madeline walks into the room and said, " I have but a few questions to ask.. If you answer them truthfully you will be let go."
The man agreed..
" What is your name?" Madeline asked .
"Razi Rabid." He said.
"Who do you work for?" Madeline said.
" I do not work for anyone I am the leader of a small group in Europe."
"Who were you after?" She said..
"Michael." The man asked.
"How do you know Michael?"
"We know all about Section. You are not as invisible as you might think."
Even though Madeline did not show it . She was upset.. How many people knew about them and how are they finding out?
" And I can promise you that we will take out Section one by one until you are all gone." The man said.."Or until you learn to stay out of my business transactions.".
"There is someone who wanted to see you before you leave the Section." Madeline said.. At about that time the door opened and there was Michael.....
"He is all yours" she said as she smiled and walked out of the room.
The man responded saying," You will kill a man that is helpless and strapped down."
"No," Michael smiled, "That would be to easy.. I want this to last a good long time." He then took off his gun and sat it down.
He wanted to kill him with his bare hands for what he did to Nikita.. " I told you that if you touched her that I would kill you. You should have listened."
Michael walked over to him and unstraped him and when he stood up Michael hit him in the ribs as hard as he could. And right about that time the man hit Michael across the face with the back of his hand.. This was the first and last hit that he got in..He then spun around and gave him a very hard kick to the face..Everytime that he hit him he thought about Nikita. And he hit that much harder...He was actually going to rape Nikita.....The beating
About that time Madeline came over the intcom and said ,
"Michael, I think that is enough.. It is time that you get on with your job."
The man let out a smile because he thouhthat meant that he was being let go.. Michael turned around and saw the smile as the man said,
"Well it looks as though your fun is over."
Michael smiled back and said "Do you wanto know what the rest of my job is,"
The man shrugged his shoulders and Michael said,
"Cancellation" ...
He swung around and hit the man right in the stomach causing him to lean over in pain. Michael turned and broke his neck...
"That was for Nikita.." Michael smiled...

NIKITA'S APARTMENT
Nikita was lying on the couch thinking about what Michael had said to her.When she heard a knock at the door..She got up to answer it, wishing all the way that it was Michael....It was...
"Come on in you know that you are welcome any time." Nikita smiled.
"We need to talk." Michael said..Nikita knew that when he starts a sentence out like that it would be bad news....But not this time. He pulled her into his arms and said," I just wanted you know that everything I said in your room today was the truth." This was exactly what she wanted to hear..
Michael began to kiss her and held her close..She always felt so safe in his arms..They stood there for a long time just holding each other.....
Nikita said," Would you stay with me tonight.. I want to be alone..Will you just hold me?"
"I would like nothing better." he replied
He picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. He sat her down very gently on the bed..Once she crawled under the cover and was comfortable he removed his jacket and shoes and joined her...he put his arms around her and they fell into a deep sleep...
Michael woke up first.. Without waking Nikita he turned and watched her ...He thought of her as an angel sent from heaven to watch over him...When she woke up he leaned and gave her a soft kiss on her lips.
"I love you." was all he said...
She laid there for a while and then said," I want to make love to you."
And of course Michael didn't object.. He wanted to be with her also. But he did not want to push her..
They laid there and made very passionate lokve for what seemed like hours. After it was over Michael leaned over and whispered in Nikita's ear..
"Now that I have you I will never let you go.." They were together every chance they got..
As Michael and Nikita laid on the bed holding each other.. They heard a song playing on the radio...They both listened to the words..

~~~Just feel and realize.
~~~It is real and not a dream.
~~~I'm in you and your in me.
~~~It is time to break the chains of life.
~~~If you follow you will see.
~~~What's beyond reality...
As they listened to the music they knew that song was meant for them and they would always remember it...
