At the end of XV - middle XVI centuries in Sweden built the ships, which named caravels, though their sailing arms a little than resembled arms of a classical vessel of this type. On caravel (1560) three masts were Swedish: grotto- and the fore-masts carried direct sails, jigger-mast - two slanting. Under bowsprit the blind-sails were put. Height of a fore-mast from kiel about 27 m. The general(common) area of sails of 680 sq. m. Length of the ship 32 ì, width 7,5 ì, deposit 3,6 ì, displacement 450 ò. The arms consist of 30 guns. Crew 86 persons and 100 soldiers’ sea infantry.
