In first
half XIX centuries occur a new type of the trade ship - clipper. The sharp form
of its low case, narrow and long, the huge sails and some decrease cargo
capacity have given amazing effect: any sailing-ship could not even come nearer
to clipper on speed of a course (18-20 units). For it is the ship and has
received the name, which means “cutting tops of waves ". Most first
