(1) Be careful what you say - This is a simple moral-teaching story which makes us feel the importance of the words we speak. I found this story very touching, so instead of the usual write-up, I thought it better to post this story in my newsletter. It shows us that the encouraging words, if not well-chosen, can produce disastrous results and vice-versa is also true. So, go ahead and read this simple story touching the bottom of your hearts.

(2) Interesting Facts - How Five Vehicles were Named

1. BUS - This word is short for the Latin word omnibus which means 'for all'.

2. CLIPPER SHIP - This long, slender sailing ship of the 19th century was named for its speed. It was said to 'clip through the waves.'

3. HELICOPTER -  When Leonardo da Vinci, the 16th century artist/inventor first drew a design for a rotating wing machine, he called it a helix pteron, meaning 'spiral wing.' These Greek words were later written as 'helicopter'.

4. SCHOONER - This large sailboat was named after an 18th century game known as 'schooning', whereby children skipped pebbles across the water.

5. TAXICAB - This word comes from a one-horse carriage called a cabriolet. This kind of carriage for hire had a taximeter inside which recorded the cost of the ride. Today, cars for hire are called taxicabs, cabs, or taxis.

(3) Download of the month- CrazyTalk

This program is for creative persons as it explores your creativity to add magic to the dull digital images by adding voice and sound. It uses TTS and speech synthesis technologies and enables the object in the picture to speak. Thus if you have a photograph of your near and dear ones, you can add your own dialogues, to make it more interesting. This program also allows you to import the images from other applications and customise them as per your creativity. You can use the Expression Editor of this program to create all animation projects. However after finishing your project, you can export your work as a Bitmap, WAVE file or AVI vvideo clip. This software can be downloaded from

(5) Jokes - Internet Humour

(4) A traveling evangelist always put on a grand finale at his revival meetings,
When he was to preach at a church, he would secretly hire a small boy to sit
in the ceiling rafters with a dove in a cage.
Toward the end of his sermon, the preacher would shout for the Holy Spirit to
come down, and the boy in the rafters would dutifully release the dove.
At one revival meeting, however, nothing happened when the preacher called
for the Holy Spirit to descent. He again raised his arms and exclaimed: "Come
down, Holy Spirit!"
Still no sign of the dove.
The preacher then heard the anxious voice of a small boy call down from the
rafters:
"Sir, a yellow cat just ate the Holy Spirit. Shall I throw down the yellow
cat?"
