Our trip to the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium was a great experience. The world's 2nd largest tank holds three whale sharks several manta rays and thousands of other fish.

1) Sitting next to a shissa fountain in the Expo Park 2) A bronze statue of a whale shark outside the Aquarium

3)Looking into the aquarium with my English speaking headphones 4) A glimmer of light shines through to the underpart of one of the tanks

5) Just how big the whale sharks are compared to us 6) The tank was just massive

7) This shark was around the time of the dinosaurs, some of the largest ever found 8) Watching this was alot better than anything on TV

9) The eclipse cast by the passing of a whale shark 10)Sea Turtles!!! This one helped Nemo's dad

11) A look out to the beach from the park 12) One of my favorite animals, the manatee

13) The dolphin show (false killer whales) 14) All four of them are dancing to the music

15) One of the trainers gets a ride (LUCKY!!) 16) And then she gets to dance with the animal

17) Posing for the camera 18) The other tank where they were practicing for the next show

19) This was the front of our hotel 20) Each statue was a unique Shissa, an Okinawan animal that is everywhere on the island. They supposedly keep away evil spirits!
