The 99 Islands Tour was aboard a ship that navigated through the sporadically placed islands in Sasebo. This is located just a five minute drive from the base. It was a great day to get out and cruise over the ocean.

1) The streets of the base are lined with Cherry Blossom Trees 2) A little overlay of some of the many little islands

3)Fish are a staple for this country, here are some of the hatcheries 4) Sailboats going in front of the island that looks like a submarine coming out of the water.

5) This cove was where we practiced getting in our kayaks after tipping over 6) Some local fishermen try their luck

7) Many islands had little imports and small beaches for camping 8) Another small island with some nice clear water in front of it

9) Little islands with Mt. Yumihari in the background 10)Hatcheries in front of another island

11) We drove right in between the middle of these two islands 12) The small space where the boat captain did a U-turn

13) The beach where we lunched during the kayaking class 14) Different shapes of the islands

15) Thats the course we took, weaving in and out of those islands 16) Me in the crows nest and some weird Japanese guy who wanted to be in a photo of me

17) The Pearl Queen, the boat that took us on our tour 18) The other boat that gets used during the busy months

19) The two cherry blossom trees that we saw 20) The big ship we just got off of
