AFTERBIRTH
(a play of abuse)
This work on madness was inspired by Jarry's Ubu and
drew on the peculiarly descriptive language of abuse commonly used by young men in the suburbs at that time.
It was first performed at the Pram Factory Theatre in Carlton, Melbourne, as a late show in April 1980.
It later moved to the La Mama Theatre.
