This power suppresses the ongoing effects of any magical equipment being used or stored by the target. If the target is a creature or person’s items and equipment, each item owned by them makes a Will save. The save uses either the item’s own save modifiers, or the wielder’s (whichever is the higher).
Against un-carried items, make a dispel check (is 1d20 +1 per caster level; Maximum of +10) against the item’s caster level. Once in effect the spell can be removed by normal means e.g. Dispel Magic.
All items affected by the spell temporally lose all their magical properties and become the equivalent mundane item for the spell duration e.g. a Cloak of Protection becomes a normal cloak whilst a Dagger +1 becomes a normal MW dagger. Inter-dimensional portals such as a Portable Hole or Bag of Holding become sealed whilst major artifacts are unaffected by simple mortal magic and remain unchanged.
