"The Baroness", was a portrait of a medival woman of power, supposed to be Madamme Catherine. It is one of my favourite paintings because I love the contrast in colours, yet its subtle and mellow tones seem to fit so well in the Hall at home where it hangs.
It took about a week to complete, when I was 16.
