Joanna uses a twin-charge blaster which she designed herself. It can fire bursts or a continuous beam. She has also been trained to use Commando issue wings. Background: Prior to taking full-time employment with Underwater Investigators, Joanna Cole was a highly skilled theif know only as Raven. Her thefts were motivated by a need to pay her tuition. Being of genius-level intelligence, she was very successful. Eventually, Joanna was led to believe that she had infiltrated Underwater Investigators (she had thought of it as a challenge). In actuality, the entire thing was planned by The Commando. She was officially hired by Underwater Investigators without undergoing the normal, torturous, weeding out process. It was at this point that she decided to give up being Raven (her last tuition cheque had cleared). What she does not know, is that UI has been secretly docking her pay since she was hired and using the money pay reparations for her actions as Raven. It's listed as 'Miscellaneous' on her pay stub. After the Cult incident, Joanna was assigned as Nijal Bakks' partner. They work extremely well together and are rarely seen apart. No one is really sure whether or not their relationship goes beyond professional, but it's rumoured that they've been married for years. As a Special Class agent Joanna is sometimes called to do work for CI directly. |
