Jimmy Pursey gives the cameraman his tuppence worth of logic back down the Roxy in late 1977. A time when Sham 69 were supporting the likes of Menace. But within 6 months of this picture being taken Sham 69 were signed up by Polydor and were about to begin the roller coaster ride of a lifetime. Within 2 decades Sham 69 songs would appear on McDonalds adverts. The band are still a gigging entity. |
