Craft Mats

Source: Unknown I ran out of plastic wrap the other night and wanted to use my alcohol inks. The only thing left was bags, foil and a box of Press N seal from Glad. I had forgotten I had it from Christmas. I tore off a piece and placed it on my work space. I forgot how wonderful this product was, and thought to myself, why didn't I use this before with all my projects? This wrap holds whatever you put on it in place. Unlike plastic wrap, it stayed in place and held my paper where I laid it. It worked so well, I decided this is my new craft must use. Wherever you lay it, it stays. Whatever you place on it sticks without glue. I had a heck of a time getting my paper off, but it came. No need to worry about your paper moving. No more paper shifting when you stamp, piece, color, etc. so buy a box today and see!
Source: Unknown I hated to pay the high price for those non-stick crafters mats (read cheapskate here!) so I tried aluminum foil. I accidentally picked up my Reynolds Release foil, but was so glad I did. That stuff works great! I was even dipping some things in UTEE and it came right off. Much cheaper.
Source: Ellie Tolbers I love using that rubber, non-skid
material people use for drawer liners for my stamping desk. I bought a
big roll of the stuff and I cut it into pieces for placing my ink pads
on when stamping (doesn't move an inch while I'm pouncing my stamp on
it). I also have a table set up for painting (the table is an angle) and
I use the non-skid material to hold my paint palette and water bin in
place. Great stuff!
Source: Bridget If you're like me, anytime you go grocery shopping, you end up with a ton of paper bags. You probably know that you can use them as gift wrapping but my tip is this: Do all of your practice work on here. Any overspray, getting too much ink off of a stamp, etc. After a few rounds of stamping, you have a truly unique gift wrapping and no wasted stuff! |
