Card Recipe Tips
|
||
Source: Unknown If you like to participate in swaps or submit your work to magazines, you know that you often need to label your cards, sometimes even having to include a "recipe". For this, I use two things that I find invaluable: Avery labels (the big ones that come 10 to a sheet) and Broderbund's The PrintShop Premiere software. I bought the software years ago from one of those "pay only for the shipping" sites and have gotten every penny's worth. (It's also great for making business cards, photo greeting cards, personalized invitations, etc.) I type up my contact info, stamp credits and "recipe" and store the file on my computer after printing out the necessary number of labels. That way, I always have the recipe for that card at my fingertips -- I can even cut and paste it into other documents (emails, etc.). I really like printing this
info out on the label stickers -- much less work than gluing or taping
pieces of paper on the backs of my cards. And I think it looks nicer,
too.
