Lived in Hull, London and West Wales before settling in Cumbria in 1978.
Married with three daughters.
Studied at Cumbria College of Art and Design from 1990 to 1994, achieving a 1st. Class Honours Degree in Fine Art.
Founder member of West Walls Sudios in Carlisle, Cumbria in 1993 and continued working from her studio there until 1998.
Work selected for the Northern Graduates exhibition at the Royal College of Arts in London in 1994.
Shared exhibitions throughout Britain from 1994 up to and including the present.
First solo show held at Shaddon Mills Gallery in Carlisle in 1996.
Full length documentary film by Ian Fenton about her work screened by Independent Television in the UK in 1998.
Currently works from her studio at the northern edge of the Lake District National Park and showing periodically at Castlegate Gallery in Cockermouth, Cumbria.
