Collecting Insulators In Australia:
Australian Telecommunications
< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Greetings and welcome to my web page. My name is Nigel Richardson and I have been activley collecting insulators for the past 8 years. I have over 4000 individual specimens of glass and porcelain in my collection and I specialize in collecting the complete set of mould numbers or individual embossings  for every CD,U and Composite type insulator that was ever in existance in our country's history. From visiting local antique stores to hunting down some of the most illusive insulators on massive road trips, I wont stop at any price to track down what I am after. This website is dedicated to the history of the Australian Telegraph and how insulators have advanced through the ages, both Telegraph, Telephone and electircal. Its currently under constuction but additions will be made whenever possible...
