It’s hard to fly with a broken wing

It’s hard to laugh when hearts fail to sing

We’re makin’ it through life’s constant storms

Cause we have our love, to keep us warm

  Past memories, of a distant war

Slammed….door after door

We’ve had to walk, we’ve had to crawl

What I did best was learn to fall

She picked me up when I was down

Rode beside me from town to town

Yet she still smiles with her broken wing
